Thanks for the analysis. Seems like it's going to be an fairly evenly matched game. Special teams and errors will probably decide this game. Looking for a good game and a Tiger win!

Don't pay any attention to some of the rantards on here. Many can't read more than 3 or 4 words without getting a headache!

Welcome to the board. Both enjoyed and appreciated your insightful analysis. Looking forward to an outstanding game between two great programs. I've had the pleasure of working with a couple of Penn State grads over the years, and while their school enthusiasm can be grating at times, probably much the same as mine, they have proven to be top notch individuals.

Again welcome and don't allow some of our more immature posters put you off. Stick around.

i think it's going to be a great game, man. a toss-up, too. the breaks and or the desire will be the difference.

Thanks for the nice summary of Penn State. It seems that our teams have alot in common. It should be a great match up!

Thanks Penn State 1995!! Welcom to the Rant. I lived in central PA and graduated from high school there....very familiar with the Nittany Lions. I liked your breakdown...continue to come back. Will we see you in Orlandeaux??? We'll be there!!! BTW........Bama sucks!!

You replace Penn State in that post with LSU and it would still work.

They've got the same weaknesses and strong points apparently.

Gonna come down to who's talent is better and who coaches em up best for the Bowl Game.

I'm leaning toward LSU and Les in that case. Should be an excellent game.

Not quite... haven't seen Joe Pa spike the ball with one second left, after letting the clock run down before calling a timeout where only one play was called, after being in marginal field goal range on 1st down and running three plays that ended at midfield. We are definately different.

they seem so dang ejumicated!

Enjoy your stay at the Rant. If you ignore the "rantards" and sift through all the bullshite posts then you'll survive and may even get addicted like a few of these Ohio State guys. Don't take anything personally, take a look at our other boards, and good luck on Jan. 1.

Yeah. We don't do stupid shite like that. We save our time outs until the end so we can run it up the middle three times.

Oh if LSU would have been so lucky to do that against Ole Miss

Thanks for the great break-down .
I hope you stick around the board, after the game and represent PSU well on this board, no matter the outcome of the game.

It's not really "just" an LSU board anymore, like Louisiana culture in general, we are very hospitable, and if you can tolerate drunks, paint chip-eaters, misfits, pointy-headed geeks, felons and reprobates you will enjoy this site.

Here's to a great game between two legendary programs.
