Looked like he thought he could catch up with Fournette and maybe got tired the last 15 yards or so.

You don't go faster by diving. It is why olympic sprinters do not dive at the tape.

Only reason to do that is you are already in position to make the tackle so you are reaching for him. Buga was pulling away. Diving, again, does not make one speed up.

He knew it would be on Sportscenter and wanted to stay on camera as long as possible, so no dive..

He probably ran out of gas.

He had just ran 70-80 yards too, you know.

I noticed it, it looked like at one point he could have reached out and touched him without diving, I was actually shocked he didn't get caught

I was there and when he first broke free, I thought, "They are gonna catch him they have the angle." 20-30 yds later I thought, "Damn they aren't going to catch him"

Dude just has another gear when he sees that end zone in front of him.

Watched part of the Spurrier show this morning - He pointed it out, as well... saying he thought his guy could have dove at him.

I thought he had a chance to trip him, if he had done it early enough.

I saw that too. Refs could have easily thrown a flag on that one. Glad they didn't.

Somebody forgot to tell the refs that it was a SC home game.
