The Party will not be as fun now that LSU is not here in Omaha, but being the last CWS at Rosenblatt plz consider making an appearance in Omaha this will be one series to remember as long as you live.

Just got home from the Old Market In Omaha and people are pissed that LSU is not going to be in Omaha, and then the conversation switched to Nebraska and Bo Pelini playing a game in Death Valley against LSU.

This thread may blow up. Many many people would love to see him coach against LM.

I always tell nebraska fans they have not seen tailgating until they have been to a LSU football game.

You right bout dat. If the huskers came to BR, it would be as electric as a Bama/UF/AU game, especially with Bo coaching.

True, but the loyalty of Nebraska fans is amazing. Their consecutive sell out streak is just stupid. And I doubt you would see them do what our fans did at the Troy game.

I'm devastated the boys won't be there to send off the old Blatt, but I'll be there to represent.

That part of Omaha is not happy because LSU fans were a moneymaker for them.

Now that it moves downtown there cash cow during CWS days are over

My husband is still making the trip. He is driving so that he can bring his tailgating gear and cook for our CWS friends.

I'll be there.
Last CWS at the Blatt.
Many good memories at that place.

Any idea how moving to the new stadium will affect tailgating?

I am wondering if they will have GA seats in the outfield or will all be designated. I love the GA seats.

Looking forward to this year's CWS. Sorry LSU won't be there to represent. I certainly would have loved to cheer them on again. But that is the way it is.

Yeah, maybe LSU could still go, and just audit the tournament this year.
