depends on your preferences, but i can easily see how people would think so

I totally agree with that….as an “unbiased” observer of both….they both are unique in their own ways and think they are both pretty cool….I do find the tailgating at Ole Miss to be a little more “family friendly” while on the other hand tailgating in general at LSU is a big party where you hide the women and children

Yea, they also buy their food instead of cooking it themselves. Ole Miss tailgating is the most overrated thing in the SEC next to their women.

Bingo.

The style of tailgating at Ole Miss is much different than LSU is. You're comparing apples and oranges here. You wouldn't debate if a country song was better than a metal song. Sure it's all music, but the elements that make a good country song don't make for good metal and visa versa.

I personally enjoy the hell out of both Ole Miss and LSU pre-game. I will add though, the food is better at LSU and it isn't even close. No contest.

OM tailgating sucks. I went this year with some friends. No open flame cooking. You cannot walk around with a can or bottle beer, you have to open it and pour straight into a cup. They are required to have padlocks on their ice chests.. to keep under age drinkers out.
It was a good trip to hang out with friends and party but it does not come even close to LSU.

We went a few years back. My husband, who is a man of few words, hollered as we were walking through the Grove "Who died around here?!"

If you like place settings, table clothes and catered food at your tailgate then yeah, Ole Miss is the class of the SEC.

Old Miss' grove is no better than ULM's grove.
