As a MS resident, this is the most accurate review I’ve seen.

Lost is very good. You can find them all over MS, especially the college towns. I think there’s one in Memphis now, as well.

Keep your eyes open. Parts of HL can be a little sketchy, especially the parts closer to Memphis.

Always enjoy Oxford, and never been when we lost. The grove is overrated, but it’s a good atmosphere around the stadium. I’ll be back this year.

Hope you like Chik-Fil-A nuggets. That’s the only food you will find.

It is beautiful, but do not remark on that to any Old Miss fans. Their heads are already ginormous enough. It’s really best to avoid conversing with them at all. Those are the most arrogant, pompous people I’ve ever dealt with. I went way back in the Year 2000 and ran into so many assholes that I vowed to never, ever go back there again. I’m a humble, kind person. I can’t deal with those type folks.

Bump: now that it’s game week and we know kick off is at 5, what time do you recommend getting to Oxford, and what is your normal Oxford routine? Any must see joints? Thanks and Geaux Tigers!

For those interested in a last minute trip, it appears bama beating us caused a bunch of people to cancel hotel reservations in Oxford this weekend

There usually aren’t rooms to be had but I checked a minute ago and there were some available .

LOLOL. Hard pass. The rooftop bar upstairs is cool. The Coop. I’d recommend that as the weather is gonna be decent in the evening.

I just decided to go to Oxford. First time for me. Will I be able to drink hard liquor while on campus?

Is uber an option in Oxford? Does it even exist?

Yeah I’ve been there several times. Cool spot for sure but can definitely get crowded. We’ll probably stay away from the square since we are driving up and back Saturday. Planning on hitting up the new brewery for sure. Also have some friends’ tailgates to stop by

Keep everything in a cup. Keep your flask hidden but you’ll be fine

Yes Ubers are available . There are also taxis too in town and they’ll be parked in the square area hopefully for easy pickups .

I am attaching a document of new Uber/Lyft tide share pickup locations .

Yes this is something new they started last year to take some of the congestion off the square .

So when you call your Uber they’ll say meet me at the North pickup instead of I’m in front of the library or whatever

Rideshare pickup locations

I had forgotten they did this a few weeks ago as I don’t go party on the square much these days and had to look up which location was which and where to go for my pickup
