I hate to seem enabling the Negs, and yeah our performance today was lacking in some ways, but it's completely irrelevant how other teams did today (except for Moo/Auburn because we've played both). I mean, yeah everyone struggles, but it's not like there was some virus spread among higher ranked teams.

But this is the Rant, let the bullshite flow...

What happened in the Moo State/Auburn game? I didn't see any of that one.

I was watching the end of the TCU/TT game.

"Everyone struggles", "irrelevant" = does not compute

Wouldn't we fall into the "everyone" category?

Not sure you meant to say it that way or I read it wrong, but the point is every team struggles at some point. I'm just happy we got a win during our bad game.

Auburn played decent on defense for the most part, but was completely inept on offense.

Plus Syracuse has a pretty good football team especially on the defensive side of the ball. They will win 8 possibly 9 games this year.

I tend to agree. They're a scrappy team and won't be intimidated. They played tough on defense.

Because our execution or lack thereof is not related logically to other teams' lack of execution. It's quite simple.

In even simpler terms, it's a poor excuse.

College football is wide open this year. That's pretty relevant.

They are very well coached and don't make many mistakes.

Not in context, it's not.

If LSU is expected to execute perfectly then so should the teams ranked above them.

LSU isn't the only undefeated team that needs to improve, but LSU is nonetheless, still undefeated.

So when every other team that matters to us struggles, it doesn't matter but when lsu struggles and still looks better that game than the other teams, it's a concern?

Seems legit.

you dont want your team (LSU) to play their best?

Of course I do.
I'm pointing out how ridiculous it is to not have any perspective of the college football landscape though. It's like many lsu fans live in a bubble and do not have any knowledge whatsoever of the rest of the country.

Lsu struggled today and won. Sloppy play. Too many penalties.
But they won.

Hopefully they work on cleaning it up the next 4 games.
