re: Morten Anderson HOF - Quagmire on 2/4/17 at 9:21 pm
He did more in 7 years than nearly every other RB in league history. Thankfully the experts saw it the same way I see it. Even more excited they just chose the best kicker in the history of the game!...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Morten Anderson HOF - Quagmire on 2/4/17 at 7:39 pm

re: Orgeron mind games - Quagmire on 12/10/16 at 2:32 am
Yeah, none of that is gonna happen.
Hey look at me!... I'm a miserable f&ck and want to shite on the team I claim to support. Our team may have underperformed over the past few years but the only thing embarrassing about my beloved alma mater is our supposed "fans". Forget about...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: To those who say they are done with LSU... - Quagmire on 11/27/16 at 2:38 am
It just feels like a slightly better Miles
So he'll win more than 77% of his games and more than one National Championship. Why is this a problem?...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: The upside of Coach Orgeron (from a notorious anti-O advocate) - Quagmire on 11/26/16 at 11:14 am
With you 100%. I wasn't an O fan but this could be a great move. It's already working out well by getting rid of some of our shitty fans. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)
re: This is NOT the best LSU can do/ I quit - Quagmire on 11/26/16 at 11:00 am
Didn't like the hire at first but now I love it. It's already paying dividends by getting rid of our weak a$$ delusional cry baby sidewalk fans. LSU is a better place without loser fans like this polluting our fan base. O is already making LSU great again!...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Which poster has been the most critical of Miles over the last 7 or 8 years? - Quagmire on 10/25/16 at 9:01 pm
No it's not. He had the most successful tenure in lsu history. Thats a fact that isnt debatable. IMO, he was an elite recruiter, elite motivator, average at best game day coach, and stubborn to a fault. One of his biggest flaws was projecting qb talent to the collegiate level( figuring out w...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Will we start kicking touchbacks? - Quagmire on 9/28/16 at 12:34 am
What we're doing right now is the right move and many other schools are following suit. We're one the top teams in the country in opponents starting field position after a kickoff. This includes the penalties. Why would you want to change that? Now punting's a different story. ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Post your favorite picture from the Les Miles era - Quagmire on 9/28/16 at 12:28 am
That '07 national title belonged to Saban just about as much as it did to Miles.
wow! You really are an ignorant fool. By your logic Shula gets credit for '09. Miles had many faults but recruiting wasn't one of them. ...

re: It is unacceptable for a defense in the nfl to be so bad. - Quagmire on 9/26/16 at 11:22 pm
Miles inherited a Ferrari and didn't crash it into a bridge embankment for a decade or so Payton inherited a Pinto and turned it into a Ferrari
Miles' accomplishments should not be minimized. Both did amazing things for our beloved teams. Most successful leaders will tell you tha...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Bruce Feldman on USC /LSU - Quagmire on 9/26/16 at 4:47 pm
They did for many years and were a powerhouse because of it. They then lost their legendary coach and slowly fell down the recruiting rankings. NO school has a permanent fence around a certain area. Hopefully it won't happen but there is a real possibility we will share the same fate as USC if w...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Bruce Feldman on USC /LSU - Quagmire on 9/26/16 at 4:40 pm
The LA metro area has 13m people. Louisiana as a whole has 4.6m. And he's right about USC owning Southern California (or at least used to)
LSU has shown they can make the transition while still receiving the talent.. if even an avg coach like Miles can come in to an established program and...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
re: Who Were Other Options at the Time Other Than Miles? - Quagmire on 9/25/16 at 10:33 pm
Del Rio was a very real possibility. It's well documented that he wanted the job and Skip flew to Jacksonville to interview him. He was likely the leading candidate at the time. The mistake was not asking for the Jags permission to speak with him. On the way there, the Jags ownership threw a fit and...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
