Both. Pro Bama and Anti LSU. To deny the bias is to deny reality. It is all too real. Many excellent points brought out by those who, like yours truly, follow this important issue.

LSU will have some HUGE penalties....Bama will not.

Think of the scene in "Remember the Titans" where the Hall of Fame Committee had fixed the game. We need to do the same thing the Titans did, "Run it up Herman(Les)! Leave no doubt!" ...

We can bitch about the officiating but we sure as heck don't do ourselves any favors. Dropping passes, fumbling before crossing the plane, whiffing on tackles, blown coverages. Every year except 2013 we've had them against the ropes and ready to win the game, but we just frick it up. It's frustrating. The calls last year looked pretty bad, though. Or maybe I'm not remembering right.

You can't just look at the number of penalties and conclude there is no bias. You have to look at when the penalties occur & how they impact the game. Exhibit A: the bullshite call on Vadal Alexander when both teams could have been called for their little squabble. A good ref wouldn't make a call like that in the final minutes of a close game when both teams committed the same foul.

It's suspect calls like this that seem to occur year after year, always in favor of a certain team, that forces this argument to continue. The argument will die when questionable officiating stops affecting the outcome of the game.

Agreed. This is when Miles is going to have to look in the mirror and decide to go all in vs Bama instead of playing close to the vest into the fourth. We can let the foot off the pedal if we get a lead early in the game. CLM's brand of football obviously works. But, when we have to play vs zebras and the opponent its time to rethink things going up against a certain team.

Outside of the Peterson interception, which was an egregious error

You say error; I say screw-job. It could be considered an error, but the more these "errors" happen in favor of one team, the more the scale is tipped towards screwing.

questionable personal foul penalty backed them up from the 1 yard line to the 16 yard line

Edit: LSUgrad88 made my point.

Why.. O Why.... Does the rest of the SEC teams put up with this bullshite? Alabama Bios, goes on & on

Do you think the rest of the teams (not Ala) say anything abut the ref's ?

They shut up and take the pay check. SEC has branded itself as the superior football conference as it is. Schools that are part of SEC feel fortunate to be a part of the (and pun intended!) PROCESS. Too much at risk by not going by the agenda. They just know at the end Bama gets their way. Only way to beat it is by putting out 120% on the field of play and pray to the football Gods.

The rest of the world has to accept USA's military dominance and China's presence. MLB has to deal with Yankees. And the NFL certainly knows the Patriots can get away with murder. In Southern football worlds its the Bama mafia that has the upper hand.
