One pair in the south endzone, handful on the very low rows in 300s as of a few minutes ago. Still several in 600s.

I've been told from very reliable sources that there should be 2,000+ season tickets that will come up next year in the lower bowl.

This number seems a little high???

They're moving 2000 visitor seats from the lower SE endzone to the uppers in 2014. All of those lower bowl tix will be available to LSU waitlisters/upgrade.

That doesn't even take into account all of the other "shuffling" that will take place next year with current season ticket holders moving into the new South addition.

2014 SHOULD be a good year to be on the waitlist.

This is why I'm going to take whatever I can get this year and get a little boost in TAF points from the ticket donation then try and upgrade next year.

I don't think "ticket donation" counts towards Philanthropic Ranking for TAF points, but I could be wrong. A donor’s philanthropic ranking is calculated using only those qualifying donations not associated with tickets, parking or other significant return benefits. However, Philanthropic Ranking is used for season tickets. I believe donations associated with tickets count towards Lifetime Ranking which is where tickets are distributed outside of Tiger Stadium. Who knows, I could be wrong on all accounts as well.

Here is a good link: TAF Priority Points FAQ

I'm going completely off of what Golfer said a few weeks ago in another thread. Maybe I misunderstood what he meant.

I went to look at what tickets were left and the site was down. I went back a little while later and it showed all kinds of seats open in the south endzone. I just went back and it says the site cannot be found.

My ranking was 1320 and I got two pairs in the South Endzone. I think you probably need to be less than 1800 ranking to get a pair in the lower bowl. I am guessing that you need to be less than 2500 - 2800 to get a pair in the upper deck, but that is a pure guess.

With the exception of a few pairs on the first few rows on the east side there are no lower bowl pairs left.

Anyone know how long your "window" stays open?

I ask because, based on what is currently available on the site, I'd rather just stay with what I have.....That said, I'm open to continue checking the site just in case by some miracle someothing opens up. If something opens up, say tomorrow, will I still be able to change seats?

I have 52.6843 Philanthropic Points. It took 2 years of donating $5,000 to make the biggest jumps in ranking. Three years ago I think I only had about 15 points. You get the biggest bang when you hit $5,000 and $10,000 in annual giving. I think it is better to give $100 for several years and then make a one-time $5,000 gift than to give $1,000 a year for 5 years. My philanthropic giving totals $12,268 over the last 5 years. My lifetime points are only 56.7843 and my lifetime ranking is 2,999. My lifetime giving is about $16,400 (including tradition funds and stadium club donations). My TAF officer was great in telling me what to do and how to do it and I followed his advice and got tickets this year.

I only have 22.3 so I may have to do the same thing to snag a pair of tickets that will open up in the South Endzone next season.
