Good luck. What ranking are they on or what is your rank?

Phate, JP is exactly right on the points calculation. If you are starting with close to nothing, it might take 2 years of giving, but you can make pretty big jumps in the rankings. Also, there are other unpublished perks to being in the Fighting Tiger club ($5,000 level). Your TAF officer can assist with getting tickets to most sporting events, including baseball games. My TAF officer helped me get tickets to good baseball games, home (South Carolina and Arkansas) and away (A&M), and he also helped me get extra football home game tickets. He even took us to dinner in College Station during the last LSU/Aggie baseball game. If LSU would have made it to the finals in Omaha, I am sure that my TAF officer would have found tickets for me. I always pay for the extra tickets (face value), but he is always there for me with tickets. A very small perk - in the Fall, my wife and I (along with a lot of other donors) get recognized as a Fighting Tiger member and get to go on the football field for pre-game and there is a very nice pre-game party that weekend. All of these very extra perks are well worth it to me and I am a very small fish at LSU.

I agree. I am a first time fighting tigers member and was invited on the football field and to a baseball tailgate with front row seats for the game. It's weird...I donated in order to get club seats in the sez, and now I actually want to donate each year now. I really enjoy the perks, and I am sure you are marked on the VIP list if you remain a fighting tiger for consecutive years.
I think the most gratifying thing, and the emotion of being an alum, is actually seeing your money put to work. Seeing all the facilities built over the past fifteen years is amazing. I ask myself, is this progress actually happening in Louisiana?

My ranking is 4137 I have 22.3 points. I've been doing the $100 donation for 7 years. I'm hoping that a $5,000 donation will get me something in the South Endzone for the 2014 season.

You will jump to at or just under 2000 with that donation. You should be fine.

That would be awesome. I've talked with my fiance and she's onboard with us making the donation so fingers crossed for next season.

No not yet. I checked my trash just to make sure I didn't delete it by mistake and I didn't see anything.

Yeah I had a list of reasons as to why it would be good to quickly jump up the rankings with the $5,000 donation but she immediately agreed and I didn't have to use any excuse.

She will cash in on that nice gesture soon enough.
FWIW, I have a pair in the south end zone and got them a couple years ago. It was after year five of donating $100 a year. As of today I have a total of $800 in TAF.

Hmm maybe I should have gotten on the wishlist before this year. I have $700 on TAF donations.

You can contact a TAF officer and he can predict where you would rank with the projected points based upon your contribution. That really helped me. It won't be exact, but as you get closer to the fiscal year-end deadline, he will probably be close. I think the fiscal year-end deadline to contribute is normally March 31 or April 30 (I can't remember the exact date). Lastly, make sure you sign up for the season ticket waiting list in January (only costs $10). You have to be on that list and then have the ranking to get a shot at tickets. Good luck.

I just got 2 tickets seat 39 and 41 in the south endzone, hoping that seat 40 doesn't mind switching!

The closest I could get to a pair in the south endzone was row 33 seat 22 and row 32 seat 25.
