he could be meeting with ODU's Blaine Taylor. Preaches stout defense, strong rebounding, and is a decent recruiter. I've gotten pretty familiar with him since I live so close to Norfolk.

Makes perfect sense to me. Occam's Razor.

FTFY

But, sorry to break it to you, I've heard nothing about Wright leaving Nova, especially as it's his wife's alma mater. (I live in the area and know some of the coaches)

Well seeing that ODU is the only "bigtime" school in the 757...Norfolk State made themselves cool for a week or so then people realized NSU was NSU again. William and Mary has been really good in football but even then no one really pays attention to FCS football, no matter how close in proximity you are. VCU isn't in the 757 but some people have gravitated toward them but really only when tournament time comes around...That about sums it up. I'll be here all week.

Blaine Taylor is a really good coach, but people on this board will be freakin out when the learn he was an assistant at Stanford the same time trent was in the late 90's.

That is in absolutely no traffic, which never happens. It would take Shaka less time to drive from Richmond to Norfolk than to drive to D.C. for a flight unless he was up there for recruiting. it usually takes 2-3 hours to drive from Richmond to D.C., sometimes more. Shaka also could of already been down in the tidewater for recruiting as well. That is where most of VA's talent comes from

FWIW, Scott Rabalais just indirectly plugged this thread on After Further Review, less than 5 minutes ago.

From 2:22 EST to 5:29 EST. Similar time length as the Altanta stealth mission.
