Bama Fans,
Please accept my apology on behalf of the Rant. No one here has mentioned the quality restaurants New Orleans has to offer. So here we go.
1) Any restaurant in the Westbank, New Orleans East and St John's Parish.
2) Any and all Dot's Diner
3) Tiffin Inn located in Metairie.
4) Websters--also in Metairie.
5) Taqueria Sanchez in Kenner (for the Spanish fans)
Dress in Bama gear and they will insisit you don't tip. We love our guest.
Enjoy!

Be sure to blindly follow any stranger down any dark passage who is seeking your "help" in lieu of going to the proper authorities for assistance.

New Orleans hookers have to pass health department exams every week. There is no need to use safe sex techniques with NOLA hookers. As an added show of hospitality they enjoy not being paid for their services.

I wonder which school gets arrested more Bama or LSU for the game? I say Bama cause we are going to up all night Jan9 and early Jan10 and being real obnoxious everywhere we go doing Rammer Jammer.

Take a moonlit swamp tour in Gramercy. There's a great one that starts at 7:00 on Monday.

Make sure to buy an Alabama bead along with other beads the size of basketballs from any souvenir establishment as you will be the life of the party and the bartenders will for sure give you free drinks. Also, the souvenir shop will give you an amazing deal as well.

New Orleanians love to celebrate Halloween all year long. Be sure to go up to a few locals and say...yo brah, where da spook house at?

If you happen to drop your cup of Zima in a Bourbon St. puddle and there is still some left it's perfectly fine to pick it up and then drink from it again.

Go Downtown and find the mississippi river and jump in it.

There's a standing order form the NOPD that if you can steal one of their guns without getting caught, you get free shots on Bourbon for the duration of your stay.

Be sure to take the "Treme" walking tour between 11pm and 5am. See all the locations of the HBO series and meet the friendly locals to experience some real New Orleans culture!

Don't.
Can't wait to sing, "Hey, Tide! Hey, Tide! Hey, Tide! We just beat the hell out of you! Rammer Jammer, Yellow Hammer, go to hell Alabama!"

Thread had so much potential and occasionally delivered with advice like "Bourbon starts past St Ann" and "Save money and time by parking on the other side of Claiborne", however, poor execution kept it from delivering the way it could have.
If this thread dies I may try the concept out in the SEC Rant in the next couple of days.

It probably should have started on the SEC rant. Maybe some nice admin will move it.
