I wonder if Miles really had an option to fire Crowton with Crowton's large contract.
Miles should walk into the office and tell his offensive coaches no more shotgun formation bull shite. He needs to make it clear that the offense is to be based around a power running philosophy. Passing the ball should primarily come off of play action and roll outs.
He then needs to stick his foot up the arse of Gonzales and tell him dropped passes are not acceptable anymore and he will sit any fricking WR for dropping easy completions. Also he needs to make it clear that WRs will not play if they can't make route adjustments themselves that will get the team first downs.
The only reason I think Les has been slow to switch to Lee is because our offense has way more problems then just at QB.
The number of penalties has not been as bad this year; however, our players have committed them at some of the most absolutely worst moments.

Disclaimer - I did not read through the entire thread. This is directed at the OP plus anyone else who cares. FWIW I completely agree with the original post. I posted THE EXACT SAME INFORMATION a few weeks ago(thread was immediately whacked) that was said on the radio, which was said to me by a former offensive player who played under Crowton at LSU. My thread was removed by Chicken who then asked me for the name and number of the player (which I declined to do) to verify my first hand account. There seems to be an overriding sentiment that the offensive troubles can somewhat be attributed to Les Miles and not Gary Crowton as most fans believe.

+1
+ I think that Shep should get more snaps as a Wildtiger QB, and Ford & Ware need to get some touches.

That is exactly what he said in that "Lunch with Les" thing on Monday.

Sorry, but a receiver cannot just "adjust" a 5 yard route into a 12 yard route. The routes are designed to work off of each other. If you start improvising, the entire play goes to shite. How about the coaches give them pre-determined routes that are DESIGNED to make a first down.

If true, that's pretty gay.

I just wish a guy like gonzales would be able to have a real impact. It doesnt sound like that will happen if Miles doesnt allow it. If miles was a retard but let his coaches do their thing that would be fine. However, it is becoming apparent he is terrible at play calling and also needs to be in control.

i have had multiple threads taken down. The censorship on the rant has been going a little overboard
