Listening to the post-game stuff on the way to nola after the game. Gordy and hanigriff said that without a doubt the play-calling problems are on miles.

Miles sits down and creates a play sheet that has the plays that crowten is allowed to call. Crowten chooses when and which play will be called but from a predetermined play sheet, and he is not allowed to deviate from it. In fact, rush and hanagriff said that miles has even taken over the playcalling completely at times in the second halves of games.

gordy rush and charles hangriff do the radio show at walk-ons. they had multiple callers call in and tell them they were wrong and that crowten is the shitty one. They got very pissed and basically said, "our jobs are lsu sports. we are around this program more than anothers and have discussions with crowten, weekly. shut up bc this is not a guess, we are POSITIVE. it is reality."

If true, that is completely absurd.

A more accurate statement is that during the week Miles, Crowton, and Gonzales sit down and draw up a gameplan with multiple plays they want to run for specific down and distances...and create that playcalling chart based on the opponent.

Then during the game, Crowton calls the plays off of this collaborative play sheet. At times, Miles will make a specific call during the games. This has been known for a couple of years...nothing new.

sorry, i copied and pasted from and email to someone less informed.

i said they basically...it was 1:30 am and i didnt remember their exact words.

if this is well-known why do people still bash crowten and wonder abour gonzales impact...its obvious that while miles is here no one will have an impact.

i dk, man...i mean im not taking their word as gospel, but i do remember hanagriff making the statement that Crowten play-calling abilities are in a locker, in a straight jacket, and buried under Tiger Stadium.....that doesn't sound like the scenario above.

Can we get the equipment staff to connect Miles' headset to some Mexican radio station? I don't know if he would know the difference.

sounds like they both need to go then, I was for Crowton leaving a long time ago. Hearing this just makes me realize this will not change, until we make the proper personnel changes on the coaching staff.

This topic goes on and on. Look there isn't a head coach in football that doesn't sit down and go over the game plan and have complete input into it. What the hell do you expect. Miles is an offensive coach. fricking NS is a defensive coach do you think he doesn't have input to play calling. Miles influences the play calls. The bull shite spread option recievers reading coveage and not running exact routes is all Crowtons crap.

Camp Randall,

since you heard the interview don't you remember this comment. This was almost and exact quote and i remember because it was so strongly opinionated it really struck me.

And they cut that guy off from Atlanta when he said they were wrong and that crowten called the plays.

dunno, man. Thats what i heard and i am not retarded...no snipe intended, but were you drunk, tired?
