Hunter IMO...But Beck is a close second.

Gotta go Hilliard here... If he doesn't do what he does against Wisky??? No telling where this season goes... And his performance against Ole Miss on that last drive will go down in Tiger Lore.

IMO.......

Because Hunter played DE in every way he was asked.
- need him to drop back and cover the flat, done
- need him to play contain, done
- pass rush, done
- he had the most TFL
- he had one of the two def TD's
- broke up more passes then most of the secondary
- and was a monster all year long in every game.

I am surprised you had to ask that question.

I want to say Beckwith because the whole D changed when he was the starter, but its hard to not name Kwon or Hunter.

I think OP got it right.

Could maybe make a case for Hilliard or Fournette on offense.

I think a case could be made for 5 guys:
Offense - Collins and Alexander both hugely important to the line and the success of the offense.

Defense - Hunter, Kwon, and Beckwith. Hunter played great in every game in many facets. Kwon flashed greatness but played consistently well throughout the season. Beckwith led the defense upon being established as the starter in the middle. He had hiccups though...as expected.

On the basis that there would be the largest drop off between these two men and their replacements than at any other position on the field.
