After the crawfish boil in NYC about 10 years ago I saw about 400 "LSU Alumni" stickers on the walls, bar, chairs, and tables at the Brass Monkey in Chelsea.

The Great Wall of China...no kidding!
The other place was at Cheeseburger in Paradise...a bar on the island of St. Barths. It's the place Jimmy Buffet wrote the song.

Saw a 2003 NC bumper sticker on the back of a pick-up truck in Manama, Bahrain.
Saw an old Hawaiian guy decked out in LSU gear in Honolulu in 2000. Turns out his son was on the baseball coaching staff.
Saw a local kid in the middle-of-nowhere Scotland wearing an LSU sweatshirt.

On the episode of "Saved by the Bell" when the "Zack-Attack" hits it big there is a part when Casey Kasem is interviewing the band on the way to the performance and there is a kid in the background with an LSU hat.

Moscow Russia - Matrushka doll with the 2003 NC team players in it. It was in an outdoor market which sold a lot of tourist items -- I bought it!!
Baku Azerbaijan - Sign outside a restaurant which said "Parking for LSU fans only".

I don't know if this is really all that "odd," but I saw an LSU flag hanging from the ceiling at a bar in Cancun...not one of the bars near where the cruise ship passengers always swarm to, but a bar at the far end of the island that some locals took us to. Sweet place.

was making a sales call in downtown nashville and my prospect had a huge pair of sneakers on a shelf with a plaque that ided them as worn at LSU by shaq. it was naturally quite the conversation piece. the guy did not go to LSU but was a bball fan and bought the shoes at a charity auction. shaq had donated the shoes. it was really cool. too bad the guy didn't buy from me.

I was in Santiago, Chile and walking down a random street and I see an image out of the corner of my eye, and look over to see a long sleeved t-shirt with the old LSU Tiger logo on it. It was a clothing boutique with vintage items. I talked to the boutique owner and it turns out his niece had attended LSU back in the 80's, and when they display LSU vintage items they sell.

Wasn't necessarily memorabilia, but we had breakfast at a local place in Cabo San Lucas and the waiter (in his thick Mexican accent) said "Geaux Tigers!" when he saw my LSU hat. Totally wasn't expecting to hear that. That SOB got a good tip.
