Saw a guy wearing a 2007 NC shirt in Trapani, Italy (Sicily). He said he bought it for cheap during a visit to the U.S. in 2008.

This past summer. The cook at the Hotel Palladio in Giordini Noxos, Sicily was wearing an LSU surgical cap. I asked her where she got it. She said she found a few years ago on the beach and has been using it every day since.

I visited the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, OH this past October and the doorman (who looked to be in his 70's) started singing "Hey Fightin' Tigers" when I walked up to the HOF with my LSU Sweatshirt on.

Caught me completely off guard.

I got a lot of "Geaux Tigers" while I was walking around the HOF. Lot's of Saints/LSU fan there the day I was.

I was in Cody, WY about a month ago and parked behind a truck that had WY tags but an LSU Alumni sticker and an LSU Fleur de Lis sticker. We got out of our vehicles at the same time and he noticed my LSU cap. He had just retired from the oil business and moved there with his wife. My dad is an ag pilot close to where he's from and turned out he knew him. Blew me away! Small, small world.

I was there for the whole summer this year. I probably repped a few times.

The funny thing was they had the players names painted on the back of them of the current players.

i don't know for sure but i suspect that's the way auburn pays their players. they can sell their merchandise overseas and profits go into an offshore acct that can be accessed by the player if he has a good game.

Didn't see it personally, but a friend email a picture of the words "Geaux Tigers" scratched in a wall somewhere in Thailand.

LSU T shirt hanging in a roadside kiosk in Obuassi, Ghana. Was there in 2000 working for a gold mining company. Bought the shirt btw.

Was hiking in Yellowstone this summer wearing an LSU hat and passed a Bama fan wearing his hat - neither one of us said anything but the air got real thick real quick on the trail !
