You know that I agree with you, Rick. I've just gotten tired of arguing with people over it. It was past time for him to go and I didn't like his coaching style, but he doesn't deserve the hate he gets on here.

at the very latest he shouldve bene fired after 2015 season. I will never forgive King for overuling alleva and keeping miles. that basically ruined what was supposed to be our year in 2016

There's no doubt that players looked like they were having more fun in the first game that Orgeron took over. But, how did he suck the fun out of 2017?

Miles won a Natty, and a ton of games. It may have been time, but he was great for us

Absolutely and it could have been detrimental to recruiting as well. Orgeron just did an outstanding job holding that class together.

This offense isn’t susceptible to coming out flat. It fly’s high unlike the Power I.

The Les Miles Offense required you waking up in a steamroller mood......and beating the other team when they knew what you were running.

Wasted year because of sub standard roster construction

agreed. I will forever respect O for going out and getting Brady to fix the offense after publicly saying that the there was nothing wrong with the 2018 offense. he recognized a problem that was holding us back and made a change. he will be here a long time if he continues to do that. anyone with minimal football knowledge could tell our 2018 problems were mainly related to scheme. we had talent.

Agreed. Completely and on all counts.

But there will always be the two camps on this board who have hero worship and blind hatred for the man that will always be there to compare him to O. Same as with Les and Nick. The next time we have another 10-2 or 9-3 type season.... Jesus, I don’t even want to think about it.

explain how we didnt have the roster to beat Troy.

why was the roster good enough to beat Auburn but not Miss St?

we had the 2nd most nfl draft picks in cfb. now try to explain that nfl draft pick doesnt mean someone is talented.

what? no way we had the talent to beat Troy.
24/7 says we were one of the most talented teams in cfb

Athlon seems to think we had top 5 talent in 2017. but I'm sure they dont get paid to evaluate football teams like Lester

CBS sports also thinks our 2017 team was one of the most talented teams in cfb

we only had....
senior nfl drafted qb FACT
nfl olinemen
all sec rb
nfl te
nfl wrs

but hey lester earl says we lacked a good enough roster to beat troy

I don't really fault the staff for the State loss. IMO sometimes you just run into a buzzsaw on the road. That may have been Mullen's best coaching job ever.

had miles notbeen so stubborn, hardgeaded, retarded whatever his problem was....and not shite bed in back to back home games against bama...and had a better gameplan in 2011 he would be remembered better you do not try that stupid predictable run only between tackles shite against saban. garbage. we must attack the strength. asinine. we knew he would never win shite again the way he quit in the natty. basically unforgivable. good riddance. years too late.

I fault them for team quitting. we quit that day. that amount of talent should not have the worst loss in the 100+ year history of the lsu/msu game.
anyone that says we didnt have the roster to beat troy, msu, and nd is biased. now i dont expect us to win all 3 but not get manhandled in 2 and lose the 4 by playing to not lose.

If you can quote that I’ll entertain your argument. Which again, you won’t like the real facts that I would hit you with

Just my personal opinion, but I think those losses had a lot to do with what we're seeing now. Coach O came out before the Rice game last year and said they wouldn't have let down because the learned their lesson the year before. Then, we haven't seen any of the vanilla/conservative stuff this season. Amazing change in philosophy.

My sentiments exactly.

Miles wasted more talented teams than any coach in history. Fact.

the fact that you think nfl draft picks isnt indicative of talent is cute.

this team had all the talent it needed to not lose 4 games in 2017. your bias simply wont let you admit it. you're the epitome of hypocrisy on here.
