O made it fun again and he is about to exorcise the last miles demon or pretty damn close to it. it is not how long he has been gone.

Doubtful, unfortunately. (For this board anyway)

i mean he beat bama, won west, won SECCG, won a playoff and has a shot to win a natty

it makes up for 2011 and years thereafter except for beating bama in the natty

we may never have that chance to redeem that. it would be a crap shoot. so much out our control. that is not O's fault.i am sure O would embrace the challenge if we get that shot.

Yep. It’s remarkable that these threads can still draw out the Miles knights.

it's almost as if Miles had the most accomplished in lsu history and every single lsu fan would sign up for the win loss numbers of Miles' tenure.

miles was always a flawed coach but had success never seen before at lsu... then he didnt. but we would all sign up for a national title, another title game appearance,2 sec titles,3 west titles from O's tenure.

Nothing like a bunch of fricking losers bashing Miles the night before the national championship game. What a miserable existence. Geaux Tigers, Geaux O, Geaux Miles, love em all.

You know that I agree with you, Rick. I've just gotten tired of arguing with people over it. It was past time for him to go and I didn't like his coaching style, but he doesn't deserve the hate he gets on here.

Miles sucked the fun out of LSU football up until last year

To think people said it was a knock on O to continue to pursue the right OC

he has the highest win % in lsu history(5 years coached)
the 2nd highest sec win % in lsu history
the #1 ooc win % in sec history
as many top 5 finishes at lsu as saban, mac and dietzel combined
as many top 10 finishes as the previous 40 years of lsu football combined
during his tenure no program beat more teams that finished the season ranked

you can claim his accomplishments were due to talent, luck , or following saban but there is no objective stats that dont point to Miles being the most accomplished tenure in lsu football.

you mean actual lsu fans that appreciated the most accomplished tenure in lsu history but recognized it was time to move on from Miles?

Oh there’s no doubt he’s brought balance back to the force

The Miles demon I was referring to were threads started about Miles on this board in regards to his career LSU. I mean shite, it’s taken to this season to stop with usual “What it Saban stayed at LSU” type threads that would pop up from time to time
