I fixed many of the things I forgot, thanks for the help. I didn't spend a lot of time on it. Just looking for others insight on position battles moving forward.

Our offense is loaded beyond belief. Please let a QB rise up this season.
Posted on 2/5/15 at 1:10 pm to mwade91383
I'll take a stab at this.
QB: Harris, Jennings
RB: LF, DW, Guice, Brossette
FB: Ducre, Bry’Kiethon Mouton (Ducre could easily be a RB though)
WR: Dural, Quinn, Tyron
WR: Dupre, Diarse, Avery Peterson
TE: Smith, Gordon, Jacory Washington
LT: Hawkins, KJ Malone, Weathersby
LG: Alexander, Jonah Austin
C: Dodd, Clapp
RG: Boutte, Teuhema, Brumfield (Either of these 3 can be a starter)
RT: Pocic, Chidi Valentine-Okeke
DE: Bower, Neal, Key
DT: Godchaux, Herron, Gilmore, LMFAO
DT: Valentine, LaCouture, Quentin Thomas, Bain
DE: Sione, Deondre Clark, Patterson
WLB: Debo, Feist
MLB: Beckwith, Garrett, Welter
SLB: Lamar Louis, Duke, Donnie Alexander
CB: White, Donte Jackson
FS: Mills, Thompson, Battle
SS: Adams, Jefferson, Voorhies
CB: Paris, Tolliver, Dwayne Thomas (Certainly can switch Paris with Tolliver, but I think Tolliver gets it at the mid-point of the season)
Nickel: Dwayne, Jackson
Dime: Jefferson
K: Colby Delahoussaye
P: Jamie Keehn
KR: LF, Donte, Dillon
PR: Jackson, White, Dillon
Obviously this is how I look at the depth chart but you may disagree with it. I would also love to see Donte Jackson and Derrick Dillon get some snaps on offense too because if they get the ball, they can be off to the races at any given time. So fast and can make our team very dynamic.

I see you and another poster put Dodd as the starter at center; the other poster also put Malone as his backup. I don't know enough about either player to have any criticisms.
When I read your post, though, the thought of Brumfield at Center popped into my mind. He seems to be a good size for it and from what I understand, he's really smart (center is supposed to be the brains of the oline). Don't know if the thought has any merit or how much work it is to cross-train someone to that position, but at this point, it seems like we're developing good depth at the OT and OG positions moreso than C. So, if any players do need to switch, I'd think he might be a good fit there.
Pocic played some center last year, but at 6'7", he's probably best suited for OT.

I think you'll see a lot less true freshman playing than we've become accustomed to the last couple of years. Cornerback and running back should be the only main contributors. Maybe Tyron johnson out wide. Special teams will be their place to shine.

Agree with this line up...
Quinn shouldn't even sniff the field. Had hands like feet last year

And I think Teheuma makes some huge plays this season.

Has everyone forgot about Quentin Thomas? I know he wasn't a world beater this year but he played significant snaps. Have we just written him off?
Posted on 2/5/15 at 2:30 pm to RileyTime
I forgot about Herron. He was supposed to be the kind of versatile gap-shooter on the d-line Godchaux is. It would be huge for this team if he can contribute that this season.
