NOBODY in the media has said the names Jordan Jefferson and Heisman in the same hour long show. If you can show me proof I'll eat a log of giraffe shite. Only a 6 year old would ask if Jefferson will be a Heisman contender this season.

It would great if JJ has an outstanding season culminating in a championship.
I am hoping he has solid year like Mauck and Flynn had or like Jason Campbell had his senior year at Auburn (after being a dog in hus early career).
However, if JJ becomes a Heisman candidate he should buy Kragthorpe a house, car and put SK's kids through college!

absolutely not. i think he could put up the same type of stats that greg mcelroy did, though. not mind blowing but solid.

Jefferson is a dark-horse candidate at best. There are a lot of "if's" in your scenario.
In the last 8 seasons, LSU has won 2 titles and been a legitimate contender 2 or 3 other times. Only Glenn Dorsey in 2007 finished in the top 10 of voting.
The last 3 quarterbacks to win the Heisman accounted for 4000-5000 yards of total offense and 50+ touchdowns. Regardless of improvement, I don't see LSU running the kind of offense that will allow anyone to accrue those numbers.
