maybe because its probably a good thing to have the fastest guy in college football returning kicks. but i can't be 100% sure
The fastest guy who couldn't catch a punt instead of a guy who is already considered to be one of the best returners in the NFL as a rookie. Nice argument. BTW arizona found a way to deal with cramps.

You and Les are the only two people who would still have Trindon back there. Results don't matter.

again...he was one of the top returners in college football. he led the SEC and was #2 in the country in punt returns. why is this so hard to understand?

How does he figure that 4/14 is better than 9/14???

133 yards of total offense > 63 yards passing. It's not rocket science.

If I asked every NFL coach and every D1 coach, what percent do you think would trot Trindon out there over Peterson??

who knows, but I'm sure most wouldn't have a problem with Trindon in 2009. Trindon's 09 stats were slightly better than PP in '10. SEC coaches kicked away from him in many cases, and on kickoffs kicked short resulting in great field position. As far as the fumbling issues are concerned, you're thinking of earlier years, did he have a botched punt in 09? Also keep in mind that 09 was PP's first year as a full time starter at corner, perhaps Chavis wanted him to focus full-time there given the team had what ended up being the #2 punt returner in the nation available....

question. Everyone generally agrees that Lee would have probably given us a better chance to win the NC game. but do you believe if Mett had started from game 1 we would have still gone undefeated despite his lack of SEC QB experience?

Yes

he would have thrown for 4tds in the first half of SECCG. He hates Georgia

Agree with ForeLSU.

In '09, Trindon was already an established and feared KR/PR. Although I think PP is better, it would have been hard to make the case that he was that much better in '09 to supplant Trindon.

BTW, TH wasn't the only one to ever botch a punt, PP7 did it vs UF in '10. It happens.
