Don't listen to the shitbird pundits.....they're going for the shock value/provocative/"look at me" predictions.

We'll settle this nonsense on the field.

I just like being the darkhorse and flying under the radar. But now, since they have us in the playoffs and have been talking LSU up, we went from a small blimp on the radar to a huge one and we haven't played a down.

The team already knew they were talented and had high hopes for this season but didn't really have anything to lose until now with all the recent recognition.

But after all, it is a smart pick to choose LSU because every position player on the field is elite or damn near close to and all we need is a quarterback who can maintain drives. IF that happens then the sky is the limit, but only if.

Regardless of their predictions, we all know what the potential is. You'd be dumb not to see it.

Anyway, here's to a successful season

In what other aspect of life, could predictions of great success and acknowledgments of limitless possibilities be viewed so negatively? hahahaha

I'm sick of the lack of respect the LSU program gets from the national media!!!!!!

Wait....? Is this the wrong thread?

I hope they're right.

I think they might be a year early, though. We shall see.

I hope they are making that prediction because their "sources" are telling them Harris is the real deal and they aren't just guessing

"Guess? That ain't no guess, that's what it's gonna be!"

I used to get so mad at the media and not talking about LsU and always talking up Bama and Florida etc, until I really realized, the game is plaued on the field, they can say what they want but Winning speaks volumes on its own and thats all that really matters.

More importantly, tRant has had LSU as a trendy pick since the end of last season.. Unless you talk to one of those idiots who complains about winning the lottery because of the taxes (aka negatigers).

People always complain about them not talking about or picking LSU, then they pick LSU and people don't like being the trendy pick.

LSU is legit this year and is getting respect, they only other year they got respect was 2011.

I feel great about it, should be a fun year.

Once Harris was named the starter a lot of opinions started shifting. We have LF and if we get Harris and the passing game going we will be firing on all cylinders and tough to stop.

All I see it as is a helping hand for our recruiting. I don't care how they rank us preseason, because it will all play out during the season. But a little national attention can't hurt with keeping elite talent coming in.

No team sees LSU on their schedule and thinks, "small blip."

CBS pundits say LSU is the most overrated team in the SEC.

ESPN pundits pick LSU to win it all.

We will see.
