Keehn had by far his best game of the year on Saturday. Dude came to play when it mattered most.

I could count the number of fricks given about this little fact on less than one finger. These rent-a-wins are great and pad your record nicely but do exactly jack shite in terms of help you win in the SEC and make it to the playoffs.

That's right. It's impossible for anyone to beat Saban. That's why Alabama keeps going undefeated every year.

Well friend we can't seem to solve that puzzle lately would you agree?

Miles laid over for Saban, and he took the entire LSU team and fan base with him. I don't hate Les, I just don't know him anymore.

So you're saying we haven't improved from last year?

No...not where Bama is concerned. Like it or not they have become our measuring stick and once again we didn't measure up. The score was not indicative of how bad they whipped our collective azzes.

It sucks, sometimes, no doubt. But his way is good enough to beat 95% of the teams in the nation.

LSU lost 5 games last year. 3 the year before. 3 the year before that.

. I, in my limited to no coaching experience, would have come in with a game plan that spread out the defense.

Sure you would have out coached Miles against Saban.

God, I love this board.

I like his plan better than anything Miles has come up with in the last 5 years.

While I agree with you on the feeling of watching that game, the reality is that the game plan was not as you described. We didn't continuously run it up the middle. We had some typical toss lead, we had LF trying to make it to the outside, we had some zone read. At the end of the day, the run/pass ratio was 26/19 which is pretty balanced. The reality of that game is that we got completely owned on the lines. When your OL is getting pushed back 3-4 yds every play and the pocket collapses every play, the result is that LF has to break several tackles just to get back to the line of scrimmage. It also results in a 6/19 passing performance. Couple that we kick off out of bounds, a blocked PAT, a shanked punt, and no KOR blocking and you get the crap-sandwich we suffered through on Saturday night.

That was honestly the best I have seen bama play all year. I've watched them in several of their other games and they didn't look like that. I don't believe that there were any play-calls that were going to change the outcome of that game. They had a chip on their shoulder and housed us. It sucks, but it is what it is.

Come on man how many times did we run UP THE Middle? None, we couldn't block those two second team Nose guards. What Pisses me off is no game plan to block them at all. Grimes fault because we have or had a damn good OLine,

The Pom Pom People absolutely cherish that totally meaningless stat that makes their boy look better. Yes, zero fricks given on OOC record...................

What you Les fans don't understand:

It's not that he loses to Saban more often than not. It's that each year he goes into that game with a Plan A and when that isn't working...there's no Plan B.

For $5MM+ per year, a Plan B is NOT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR

Look at the bright side, guys.

Alabama used to circle the LSU game on the calendar as the biggest game of the season.

Now, since it's not even a rivalry anymore, they may actually overlook us one year and we might pull an upset.

How bout the other coaches that get paid MORE than Les, and still lose? Some of you people love to be miserable about something you have no control over.
