How many of you felt like you were watching the 2011 NC game again, only we had a slightly better QB. Going into this game everyone (except Les Miles) knew it was going to be incredibly difficult to run on Bama. I, in my limited to no coaching experience, would have come in with a game plan that spread out the defense. I don't know...screen passes, flea flickers, passing to the backs in the flat...something other than running up the middle over and over and over again. Could the players have played better. Sure. But it is the coach's responsibility when you keep trying plays over and over again that aren't working. We only threw the ball 19 times. How do you explain that? Sure Harris didn't look that great throwing the ball but you gotta do something. You gotta decide the lesser of two evils and we were gaining more yards throwing than running. Miles' stubbornness is the reason he is out coached time after time after time. Our defense did pretty good in the first half. At halftime Bama made adjustments and rolled over us. Miles made no such adjustments. We just kept trying to run up the middle. What pisses me off more than anything is Miles may have ruined LF's Heisman chances this year.

And special teams....come on! Keene sucks bad. Don't we have another punter we can try?? And why don't we have a kicker that can put the ball in the end zone on kickoffs? That is necessary when your special teams players can't tackle.

I'm so tired of losing to the Gumps!

The only thing that bothered me about the game plan was this:

When running between the tackles was unsuccessful out of the I-form, their adjustment was to line up in shotgun......and try to run between the tackles.

Yeah, fire Les and hire Freeze bc he beat Bama two years in a row.

That way you can beat Bama and still lose 3 or 4 games a year. sounds like a great plan.

No no no. Go back in time a week. Very few lsu fans expected less than 150 for Fournette. Revisionists history, prior to the game the majority of the lsu fanbase that posts here expected success on the ground, understandable considering what lsu had done up to that point.

My biggest gripe is that we never have any adjustments against Saban. Nothing new. Nothing inventive. Just the same old stuff that we've seen for 10+ years.

Those idiots don't know anything about football. We had not seen a run defense as good so far this year. Anyone who knows football, knew it was going to be tough. It didn't have to be though if we had a gameplan to get the LB's from stacking the box.

I'm not ready to fire les, but some of you have the defeatist/complacent attitude. Settling. Just like the UGA fans out here that say "who you gonna get better than Richt?". Who are you gonna get that's better than 5-16 vs top 25? If we run the table, Miles has done an admirable job this yr. if we drop any of our remaining games, it's a Miles problem, plain and simple. The only thing he can do to make up for his stubbornness in Tuscaloosa is run the table and win a good bowl.

The talk already is that Henry has taken the lead. Can LF get it back? Probably but if not, it is Miles' fault.

The monkey isn't on Les' back, it's between his ears. Stubborn as the day is long.

Got completely embarrassed in a game we had to have, yet some folks are still completely obsessed with an individual award. I'll never understand it.
