The 1st qtr @ Ole Miss is on Harris. The ball was put in his hands & he failed. He still struggles with the touch pass. Is this lack of qb development from Cam? I don't know, but he has the talent to be a great qb. However, does he have the confidence? We'll see.

Ummmm... that's the biggest reason Harris hasn't gotten better.

I honestly think he would do a lot better in offense with a little creativity.

3 of his completions were incredible/miraculous catches by LF.

It's true but how much time at practice was spent on passing in game time situations? I obviously don't know the answer but by looking at the timing on the field it all looks off.

Harris is bad. I've been open minded on him all year but he's just not good.

Jennings beat Ole Miss and went to overtime with Bama. Harris didn't help himself. After this season, Jennings will still have more wins playing in Les games.

Unfortunately based on what I've seen from Harris, I don't expect him to get a lot better. He's been the obvious weak link in the offense this season.

Because he can throw it hard and far, and can run a little? That's certainly characteristics of talent.....but also there are things like accuracy, QB awareness, ability to read defenses, etc....these are some of the major weaknesses of many dual threat quarterbacks...for whatever reason....so unless he can overcome these deficiencies, it won't matter how far he can throw it and how fast he can run....he will never be great.

Well the whole point is perhaps a new coaching regime will coach them up better, put them in better position to have success..

Put it this way, if Alabama can have that success with Blake Sims.. anything is possible. Yes, he had Cooper.. we have Dupre.

I still am amazed by the success Blake Sims had..

Not much he can do. From what I've heard since he arrived at LSU is that he can't read coverages to save his life, and it definitely shows on the field. Hard to be an efficient and reliable QB in CFB if you can't do this.

Which I feel those things that he needs work on or more in his head. If he does not get any more accurate, he is going to kill our receivers.

I agree to a point. But Harris seems to lack basic QB instincts. He throws a 100mph fastball on a 3 yard route. He has no moxy. He's not QB savy. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for the coaches.

I think clearly he progressed form his freshman year, but i just don't think Cam's offense is one you succeed in when you are young.

It requires a lot of downfield passing, he doesn't have a ton of underneath routes, and its hard for Young QBs to get their eyes back to the check down throws.

We will trot him out there and go for all 100 yards in the first 2 passes, and not even run a route for the 15 yard stuff.

Do you realize he showed up and executed the game plan. At this point in the season, Harris looks worst that Jennings did last year.
