Sterilize yourself. You can never pass on this amount of stupidity.

no shite...there aren't many options in this short of time. New Orleans would make sense to have it if Mitch The Bitch would have had all the pumps working.

Orlando doesn't make sense, and Nashville doesn't sound great too.

I say do it at Cotton Bowl during the day...

Agree. The same lame, predictable jokes are tiresome. "Joe is dumb! Look at me! Upvote my funny comedy joke." Refresh, refresh, refresh.

No, it can't. I think logically Nola was going to get the nod but now there is a reasonable probability of weather there so they can't risk having to move it again if it is severe.

This is and has been a fluid situation and people need to be patient just like the people that are trapped in their flooded homes in Texas.

The Cowboys-Texans pre-season game is still on at the NRG Stadium this Thursday, August 31, 2017, so the BYU-LSU game may stay there too on Saturday.

That's not necessarily true. They aren't saying the game is at NRG for sure. Texans are practicing in Frisco this week. Highly doubt they will play in Houston on Thursday. Too many city resources needed for a game and they have nine to spare.

Where in Houston are the TD servers located? That's my main concern.

People bashing Aleva crack me up. It's all down to ESPN. They have final say. All Joe can do is give his 2 cents, same as BYU's AD. ESPN is the one dragging arse, not our guy. (for once.)

Like no agreement on a date, time and location?

I think that language should scare all LSU and BYU fans.

After the fumblings of the last few seasons I leave nothing to chance. I cancel only when official is official.

I think it's just his way of saying the game is getting played.

They don't make sense to you, ESPN don't care about fans. As long as this game is televised they make money and the team's are paid the agreed upon amount.

JOE ALLEVA HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS. IT IS A DECISION TO BE MADE BY ESPN AND THE PEOPLE WHO PUT ON THE GAME.

I also don't understand why people don't get this. For once, if you don't like the decision, you can't blame him, so stop doing it before anything even happens.

I'm glad it appears the game is going to be played. It's not optimal, but I'd rather it be played than cancelled.

It is the stupid "follow the herd" mentality. The cool kids are cool because they get to hate on the AD and be anonymous behind their keyboard, facts be damned.

And I blame Facebook too. If one idiot spews garbage, the other idiots follow without letting facts get in the way.
