Cool, glad to see that. Cardinals are going to be fun to watch with all these former tigers on defense...

Totally forgot about Brockers, didnt realize he had 6 sacks for a big DT in his rookie season, thats pretty damn good.

6 sacks at DT is solid. Peterson will definitely be a multi year pro bowler. Freak athlete.

He is a special player and one of the best cover players in the league already. He can return kicks among the best in the NFL, but it's his cover skills on the corner that make him truly special.

I remember a lotta ppl saying PP7 couldn't cover and wouldn't improve after his rookie yr.

I had no clue Brockers had such a solid rookie year. Happy to see that

Huh? He was always considered to be a potential lock down corner even coming out of the draft and someone who could return kicks.

Yes he was, but I've actually heard some say he couldn't cover.

yeah but he had his struggles as a rookie, and there was a lotta skepticism about his ability to live up to the hype (or even get close to it) as a result. lotta impatience in the world.

He was abused in one game, had like two TDs thrown on him (can't remember which game exactly). There was definitely some talk of his cover skills being below expectations during his rookie season.

Yeah I was hearing it too, but the return skills were on point the day he stepped on the field(4 returns for TDs, INT return for TD). Wish there was a S/T POY because he would have definitely won it. His second year is when he took hood and became that lockdown corner we know. That Cards D is going to be damn scary this year.

I believe he will establish himself as the best corner in the NFL in the next couple seasons.

By whom? Some retard on here? Rookies get burnt all the time in general. Peterson was no exception.

Anyone that thought his cover skills were below expectations just have no place commenting. His skill set and work ethic should make him a 10 year shut down corner in the NFL, then he lays wood at Safety for another 5.
