NFL Network Mock Draft showing LSU players serious love....

Did a whole segment on Odell and all four analysts listed him as the #3 receiver challenging Evans as #2. Said he won't make it to pick 20.
Showed an interview with him talking about his love for LSU and how he bleeds purple and gold. Could never have picked another school. Showed pics of his mom and dad from their playing days. Very cool segment and Odell is going to be a great ambassador for us for years to come.
Another long segment on Mett and how he compares so well to Drew Bledsoe. Say he's a Day 2 impact player that would be a great fit in Arizona, Minnesota, or New England as heir to Brady since Mallet won't be there much longer.
Interviewed him and he talked about how the injury and his unique college experience has taught him how to deal with the ups and downs of the game, the business, and life. He evaluated himself last year and decided to focus on what was most important to him and stopped going to bars every night.
Wants to be the best he can be. Doesn't want to be one of the many guys that had talent but were out of the league in a couple of years. But wants to be the rare guy that puts in the work to become great like Brees or Brady. Still comes off quiet and almost shy (or bored), but definitely saying all the right things.
Talked up Hill, one of the four analysts had him as best RB in draft and first off the board. They all said he is a fit for literally every team because his size and speed are coveted in any system, and specifically mentioned Tennessee to replace Johnson and said he'd be an immediate upgrade over Shonn Greene.
Also mentioned Jarvis breifly and made the Hines Ward comparison, but they had already done a big segment on him on that Game Changers episode for WRs. Said he's one of the toughest players in the draft and won't make it out of second round.
An extremely positive piece on LSU and the players representing the school.

That Drew Bledsoe comparison is spot on. Not very mobile but very pocket aware, a rocket for an arm, and can make any throw. New England would be a perfect fit for him. I'd laugh if he went to Arizona to join LSU West

I wish all of the "Big 4" great success in the NFL. As fans, we were blessed to watch them all on the field at the same time.

Barring injury, Hill will have the best carreer in the Pros IMO...A feature back that can catch the ball out of the backfield is a rare commodity nowdays......

No doubt. We really caught lightening in a bottle with those guys this year.
Kind of reminds me of 2006 with JR, DBowe, and Buster that left the program in such great shape, poised to make a championship run. Would be pretty sweet if some players from next year's team step up to take us to the next level like Flynn, Early, Hester, and Byrd did. Sometimes greatness can set the tone for even greater things down the road.
If not next year, I have no doubt 2015 and 2016 will take us to even greater heights.

Where's the love for Trai Turner? I think he'll end up being a steal in the middle rounds.

Loston, Freak and Ego will also be good gets if they fall in their position rankings.
I guess this thread was more geared for offense though.

He was the biggest head scratcher. Could've stuck around and improved his stock.

Yeah those were just the only guys mentioned on the show. Definitely think all the guys on D and Trai have value Iin this draft.
Most likely day 3 guys, except maybe Ego.

I think out of the 3, Hill goes in the 1st. Mett won't be on the board at the end of day 2 IMO

This is what happens when your offensive coordinator doesn't suck dick

He was a head scratcher to almost everyone, but apparently he got some good advice. He absolutely dominated the combine and his stock soared from there. He's one of the highest rated guards in this draft. Some mocks having going in the 1st-2nd round, or at least the first guard off the board. Hard to improve his stock any more.

No RB is going to go in the first. A lot of mocks have the first RB off the board late 2nd.
Hill very well may be the first RB off the board though.
As for Mett, it is very possible he slips into the end of the 1st if a QB run starts, which could happen. Those teams at the end of the first like Denver or NE may be looking for a QB of the future, or a team early in the 2nd may get nervous and trade back in to the 1st to grab a QB if they feel like they'll all be gone.
Going to be a very exciting draft for LSU players and fans.
