I thought they looked awesome. I'm all for some change every now and then. Huge fan of the white helmets. Maybe we could mix them in for a couple games every season?

It would be good to see the white helmet once a year. We've seen it with white, gold, and purple jerseys now, and it works for all three.
I love the traditional LSU uniform, as well, but this is a solid way to mix things up a bit without going crazy. We aren't going all black. We aren't introducing 50,000 color combos. We aren't going with 10 different helmet logo designs. We are talking about One. Damn. Color.

all black uni's have become cliché and lame. Tennesse did an interesting uniform this weekend with the all gray highlighted with some orange. Nice contrast, looked sharp. Would be cool if we did something really out the box like that every now and then.

LSU and the tradition and history sets the standard.
Not the player or recruit.
It's a privilege to play at LSU.
It's not a players priority or right to change things.

I don't even understand why the traditionalists are so upset about the uniforms. they are still traditional. they are the same uniform template we've always used, just using different colors. i can understand, sort of, people not liking the pro combats in 2009 and 2011, but the uniforms saturday kept our same traditional look. And I, like many others, would love to see white jerseys with those white pants/helmets. The 2011 pro combats were close but still not exactly that

I like our traditional uni, but also like the all white as our alternate.
