They've played that all year fwiw. 
eta: Just noticed they removed "Walk-Ons" from the song. I never really noticed that in Tiger Stadium.

No its not. Its the most transparent "lets make a song that plays at Louisiana related event" song. The song is shite.
Its like they made a list of words that were Louisiana related and stuck them in a madlib.

I think if Calling Baton Rouge came out today from a no name singer, this board would shite all over it simply because this is the largest collection of negativity on the internet. I really enjoyed the song and video, personally.

Oh, Calling Baton Rouge gets shite on plenty here. The problem is this board doesn't really resemble what's in the stadium on Saturdays. The whole place is rocking when it starts. Same for "I'm From Louisiana." People here bitch incessantly about it yet when they played it last weekend the stadium went fricking crazy.

The song was made purely with the intention of getting used like this. It includes nearly every cliche' about the Baton Rouge area. I'm sorry, but it doesn't come across as genuine.

The song is 4 years old. Y'all are acting like they just did this 4 weeks ago because LSU is rolling right now.
