Disagree. Besides the RB position and maybe DB, were are average in our own division. We are below average at D-Line and QB. Give me a position group besides RB and DB in which you think other wise.

I can name one that can't, and he's taking in a cool 4.2 mill a year

WR is elite. Offensive line is elite. We have very good linebackers. Defensive line is the only position on the team that is even average. It's pretty hard to look as good as you are when the coaching is God awful

Have not been able to stop the run in the last three games.

We have talented individuals but our position groups are average in our own division.

Successful Coaches with offenses Saban hates
Kelly
Stoops defensive guy
Freeze
Patterson defensive guy
Leach

Id say Patterson first
Leach is interesting to me, beats bigger teams with less talent. QBs always winning passing titles

First thing, I am not in favor of losing Miles and began a witch hunt for a new coach. He deserves one more year with the #1 recruiting class, but to answer the question, the idea coach and answer to all three questions is Hugh Freeze.

False. Dupre could be by far the best WR in the SEC in a scheme that isn't from 1972 and we have a lot of guys that bring unique skill sets otherwise. Dural, Diarse, Johnson, Dupre, Quinn, are all about 5x better than they currently look in-game. If you're questioning the physical talent of our WR's then I don't know what to tell you

This is a coaching issue on a lot of different levels. We had 2 guys that could've been first round draft picks and a possible first round draft pick in Ethan Pocic and they're all playing out of position which makes them look mediocre

Kevin Steele. I don't think you understand how to differentiate between "talented" and "playing well as a unit". They're two completely different things and coaching can in fact frick up the latter

That isn't how that works. Just because you can argue and nitpick that there are one or two teams who have better WR's, O-linemen, etc. doesn't mean that we're not one of the most talented teams as a whole

Who was Miles before he came to LSU? Who was Saban?

I am not nitpicking. It is clear that we are getting beat at almost every aspect of the game right now. I am pointing out that there are 3-4 teams in just our division that are better than us from top to bottom. We have recruited some great talent in the last few years but you can't say we are are "elite" when we are getting beat at nearly every position.

Then how "elite" are they? Just like saying our DB position group is top tier but they are getting beat consistantly. Individual talent is one thing but our team is nowhere near the top of the NCAA right now and our performance is proving it.

hugh Freeze was coaching high school football right before Les Miles came to LSU. He's 2-0 against Nick Saban the past 2 years.

I agree with your post, but as far as this question - Linebackers... they're pretty solid.

Beckwith has not been playing very well in Nov. He will be drafted highly but teams are running all over us. They are talented but I don't think any of them would start for Bama. And that is the measuring stick if you want to be honest, imo.

This argument is fricking ridiculous. We have one of the most talented teams in college football, we should not be getting blown out by Bama

But you would be wrong on the talent. LSU is currently on the same level as about 6 other sec teams. Bama stands alone at the top.

Look for yourself below. Also, how many of those higher ranked guys are 3rd year or higher? Not many. The only team that LsU lost to this year that Lsu should have a decided talent advantage is Ark. But that is negated by the fact their roster consist of more JR and Seniors and has a very good SR Qb.
