They are talented but I don't think any of them would start for Bama.

Can't argue with you there, but I would say they're a top 5 linebacker core in the country. They're very good. I don't think Steele's dumb schemes allow them to shine the way Bama's does.

Another friendly reminder -- the Fire Miles campaign heated up after he lost to ARKANSAS by 17 points for the second straight season.

Why don't you pull Saban's dick out of your mouth, arse, or whatever office it resides in at the moment and think about what you are saying. Individual player by player comparison to Alabama players we are very damned talented. Where we are lacking is in the coaching department.

It is clear that we are getting beat at almost every aspect of the game right now
Again, this is a coaching issue, not a talent issue

I am pointing out that there are 3-4 teams in just our division that are better than us from top to bottom
care to name them? Alabama is the only team in the SEC that's more talented than us from top to bottom. Superior talent does not equal superior performance on the field when the coaches aren't doing their jobs well
quote:

you can't say we are are "elite" when we are getting beat at nearly every position.
Yes I can. For the 1000th time, our coaches aren't very good this season. You've never played organized sports if you haven't been on a team with misused talent by a shitty coach. That's a very real thing
quote:

Then how "elite" are they?
Two of them were 5 star prospects, one was the all time leading receiver in the history of high school football, and two are veteran leaders with perfect frames, good hands, and both were highly touted recruits. They're pretty elite talent-wise
quote:

Individual talent is one thing but our team is nowhere near the top of the NCAA right now and our performance is proving it.
This discussion isn't about "team". I'm talking about individual talent and nothing else. Our "team" sucks because Steele is awful and Miles has a stranglehold on the offense, not because they're not one of the most talented in the country

But you would be wrong on the talent. LSU is currently on the same level as about 6 other sec teams
Actually that cute little chart you just posted has us 2nd in the SEC, and I'd be willing to bet that we'd be close to the same spot if you did it nationally
quote:

Also, how many of those higher ranked guys are 3rd year or higher?
About the same amount as every other team in the SEC not named Alabama

The only team that LsU lost to this year that Lsu should have a decided talent advantage is Ark
There's almost as big of a gap in talent between LSU and Ole Miss as there is between LSU and Alabama. Do you understand that or are you going to disregard it because it doesn't fit your bullshite narrative?
