1. In which the new coach can keep our best players in Louisiana home?

2. In which the new coach can win SEC Championships?

3. In which the new coach can be a superstar coach?

If you think beating bama is an individual coach on coach matchup you're wrong.

It's a program issue. It's about game planning, player development, running a good offense, hiring the right people, etc. None of which do we do right now.

Name 3 teams as talented as LSU. This argument is fricking ridiculous. We have one of the most talented teams in college football, we should not be getting blown out by Bama and accepting defeat before the first quarter even ends

Look. I'm not one of those fools that thinks LSU gets a ton of talent for FREE, but I do think that we have a very fertile recruiting base that is mostly committed to going to the top-instate school. The name LSU does a lot to get recruits, that part is factual. I'm definitely aware that not just any coach will be able to funnel the amount of talent into the program that Les has been.

Now, that said, I think that any coach who is very good at gameplanning based on the pieces he has will be very successful at LSU, certainly with the talent we have available RIGHT NOW. We are one of the only schools who has consistently been right up there with Alabama in recruiting. We are one of the most talented teams in the country. We can beat them, we just need a better game plan. Any coach that can do that, with the talent WE HAVE, can beat Saban.

Kelly would run an offense that would give Saban fits...he does not like up tempo offenses and would love to have it outlawed if he could. J.L. Mora would be problematic as well because although a defensive minded coach, he has had a lot of success developing QB's and he's young enough to build a program , has experience( and some success) as an NFL coach.

Urban Meyer
Hugh Freeze
Chip Kelly
Jimbo Fisher
Kyle Whittingham
Bob Stoops

Too early to say about the young coaches like Herman and Fuente. At one point, Meyer could not challenge Spurrier but the young gun rises and the old guard declines.
