Whoever is playing NOSE. We need to be stout up the middle in this game.

Can I name a unit? Because it's all on our OL in this game.

OLine for sure

if i have to say 1 person

Pocic has to have a good game. Needs to be strong vs Bama interior Oline or we are fricked.

Entire OL. Ole Miss and AU got to Etling pretty good, and Bama's DL is better. This is the one matchup I'm most concerned with.

The correct answer is the OL. They got straight manhandled by Bama's DL last year.

No player for LSU can overcome Etling not playing his A game against Alabama. He can be great and we could still lose, but if he's bad, we're screwed.

We've been close with poor QB performances before, but this Alabama team is too complete IMO. Etling has to be good/great or else no one else having an A game will matter.

The defensive tackles need to generate pressure up the middle and force the run outside. The game is going to be won or lost between the tackles. I am not worried about the secondary, or the outside runs. If we get gashed up the middle it will get ugly quick.

On offense we must be able to win the one-on-one matchups in the receiving game. This will open up the run. LF7 will not be able to run the ball until we soften them up with the pass. Bama will crowd the line with 8 man fronts until we can prove that the pass is effective.
