No player for LSU can overcome Etling not playing his A game against Alabama. He can be great and we could still lose,

I think Malachi in the slot, making possesion catches to keep drives alive....3rd down conversions decide this game for either team.

Too many of yal are mentioning our ballers, but we know White, Key, Adams, and Beckwith will bring it. I'd say the choice that would help the most would be a stand out game by one of our DT's.

Let's be honest.

Everyone says that les miles was canned because of the offense. When really, it was often that bad. But our defensive line was laden w enough talent to wreak havoc and COMPENSATE

In recent years, our DL hasn't been the same

Dorsey, Lavalais, Brockers, mcfarland, kyle williams, Nevis even francisois, Ferguson

Since our boy valentine seems mired on the bench I'll vote for big Ed Alexander or another one of the young big guys.

It's a great sign if your DT dominates a game.

Plus, it's about time for one of the bigs to really step up. I know in a 3-4 DT's won't get the glory AND they have opened it up for Beckwidth and Adams... bUT to beat Bama, we need our interior playing lights out

I'm going to go with Desean, or any of the TE's that see time. They will be called on for hot routes and to pass block. Blown assignments by them can cost key for-loss plays (mainly sacks, but runs too) and not being where they are supposed to be (a key component of hot routes) can result in non-conversions on 3rd down... or INTs.
