understatement. a great LRM quote (or pretty damn close) "clarinets, i suggest you get the marching down. I dont know if you realize this, but no one can hear you anyway. I won't hesitate to replace you with a real instrument"

thats a good thing. i think the percussion auditions are in august (the week before the instrumentalists come in). Do you know if Linda or Roy King are hearing his audition today?

Have to agree...If he doesn't make it on percussion, he better be the best woodwind player Jesuit ever produced...Linda is not a big fan of woodwinds on the field.

He has a trumpet but doesn't play it. Maybe I'll get him a tuba and he can cram before camp

yeah those are two easy ones. just tell him in august to fight the temptation of going out with all the trumpets, baritones, trombones, and tubas who know they aren't getting cut

Section leaders told us the first day that none of us would be cut.....I'm pretty sure we have had this discussion before over a cold beverage or two I believe

ETA: to the guy with a son trying out even if he does audition on trumpet I hear it is different now than it was 10 years ago so I wouldn't take the route that I did hah

We assumed we were all in this past year, but Dr. Moorehouse found out and told us off and then cut 4 people after cut night

Doesn't sound out of character for her I mean being the bitch that she is and all.....she would leave returning members out of pregame and halftime if they pissed her off and it don't take much to piss her off

try being late to the bus when leaving Atlanta from the SECCG. And you're on HER BUS.
