They have incredible unfair advantage with an entire conference office in their back pocket. Those who don't understand that either don't want to or they are just plain stupid.

During the bridge scheduling bama didnt play any east teams that finished, outright, in the top 3 of the sec east.
From 2009-2013 Bama played uga, uf, and usc ( in the regular season) a total of 4 game.
During that same span lsu played these teams a total of 8 times.
In 2012 Bama got to play 4 sec west homes games while the rest of the west got 3( Texas a&m got 2 west home games).
From 2009-2014 bama didnt play uga at all during the regular season.

Bruh, im telling you they live in an alternate universe where Miles' tenure has been mediocre at best.
[link=(List_of_LSU_Tigers_football_seasons)]Miles has 4 of our 9 top 5 finishes and 8 of our 31 top 15 finishes[/link]
These are facts. The statement that Miles' tenure has been the best IS NOT my opinion. Its a fricking fact.

Bama didn't have a problem moving the ball on LSU.... As did Ole Miss or Arkansas....

Thats because our defense was shite last year.
all but 2 teams scored at least 20 points against us
we were 57th in opponents passing yards per game
we were 35th in opponents rushing yards per carry
All while our offense was in the top 4 ,in the sec, in offensive yards per game and offensive points per game.

our offense was 11th in the country in offensive yards per play.

No they didnt. True freshmen and true sophomores( redshirt freshmen) that play well are the outliers.

Pro style offense is, by far, the most complex scheme in football.
Young and inexperienced qbs dont usually play well in a prostyle offense because they are being asked to do things theyve never done before.
Take snaps under center and something as simple as calling plays in the huddle.

You really are the most football ignorant person ive ever come in contact with. Lsu plays in the hardest division in the hardest conf and you think youth and inexperience doesnt matter.

Other SEC West teams also have youth and inexperience. Very lame excuse.

what? Its not a lame excuse. It's reality. Other sec teams rarely had the inexperience we suffered in 2014.
Our offensive skill position, players combined, had 3 career starts in the sec. 95% of our skill position players were true freshman or redshirt freshman.
You dont pay attention to cfb if you think other sec west teams had to deal with that kind of youth. Its common knowledge that inexperience and youth in cfb will hurt your production.

Eta: ask all the nfl coaches that have offenses struggle with inexperienced rookie qbs. Since inexperience and youth are a bullshite excuse. Why do coaches try to get qbs to come back for their redshirt junior and senior year if youth and inexperience doesnt matter.

I swear the rant never ceases to amaze me with all the football ignorant and wrong posts that are actually common knowledge to people that understand football. Youre arguing something my 10 year old knows. Youth and inexperience rarely plays well.

But they have not suffered the past attrition of early entries into the NFL at the level of what we have experienced. We end up losing too much experience at one time. Competitors then enjoy having more veteran leadership at key positions than our team. Bama is the outlier since they have recruited at such a high level. They tilt the balance on pure depth of talent (as any program would with so many consecutive number one recruiting classes). That is not a lame excuse but a fact. Any one who can't understand does not want to or is beyond reasoning.

We had 508 yards against ole miss. Are you new to football? When you play tougher teams your offensive production goes down. Its common knowledge.

You cant tell these dumbasses anything. Before this year lsu had lost 21 draftable junior in the last 4 years. The next closest team was bama with 12.

You do realize a lot of those yards against Ole Miss were garbage yards right? When it mattered the most our offense got stuffed. That's the bottom line, end of story.

What a lot of people fail to mention in this whole discussion is that the defense gave up huge yards on the ground in each of our three losses.

The passing game can and should be better. And I'm aware that three and outs by your offense wear down your defense. But there's really no excuse for giving up 800 yds on the ground in those three games.

And thats my point brother. Our offense was ranked 4th in the sec in offensive yards per game and our defense gave up 20 points to all but 2 teams and one of those teams scored 19 points. While our passing efficiency needs to be better the defense is what lost us 3 games,

Agree about three assistants but offense showed nothing in spring game. Cam and Miles run the offense what more needs to be said. Want to make an adjustment to that comment about offense. WRs looked good but Cam and Miles not their coach. Harris as QB ??
