Literally, zero people without the last name "Miles" are in this number. There are quite an exponentially but more who hate Miles more than they love LSU. Which is fine. But if you deny this, you are either too stupid or intellectually dishonest to converse with.

And just because we don't think Miles and Cam should perform seppuku on the 50-yard-line after a 9-3 season, doesn't mean we are "settling for mediocrity." As if that fricking means anything anyway. Let me clue you in on a little secret--nobody gives a good goddamn what you or I expect or "settle for" when it comes to LSU football. And if you think Miles and co. rose to where they are without being ultra competitive, again, I'll say you're either too stupid of intellectually dishonest to continue with. The only people that matter what their expectations are and what they'll settle for are the coaches and players at LSU. None of this other bullshite matters.

I'll admit to not having read every post in this thread, but I was responding to Lakeboy. Frankly, I thought you and I were on the same side.

Best tenure in LSU history? Didn't Dietzel, Saban, and Miles win a NC and 2 SEC Championships? And Dietzel did it in 6 yr and Saban in 5 while Miles has doubled the tenure but not the production?

Aranda and Craig haven't even coached a single regular season snap as Tigers yet. I'm excited to see what they can do, but any poster who prematurely annoints them as "great hires" is irrational and harbors a transparent agenda.

Yes. Best win % in lsu history.
Miles has the most top 20 finishes
Miles has the most top 15 finishes
Miles has the most top 10 finishes
Miles has the most top 5 finishes.

Since his hire no program has beaten more ranked teams and no program has been ranked in the top 25 more weeks.

Only an ignorant person would claim miles tenure isnt the best.

Saban lost at least 3 games every year but once. Its a shame Miles doesnt coach in a shite sec west where 3 losses wins the sec west like saban in 2001

Comrade,
Can anybody be a great hire? Can any recruit be a great recruit? It's possible Aranda and Craig will flop but at this juncture but what's available to assess them on they were great hires.

The offense that finished 4th in the sec in offensive yards per game and 3rd in the sec in offensive points per game?

Point taken but I would LOVE to see our offensive rankings in the month of November, you know, the only part of the season that matters

Meh, they all matter in college football. And I'm shocked we did better against the easier teams and worse against the better teams. We must be the only team in history to succumb to such a surprising stat.

Yes, the offense that had 39 yards rushing versus bama.

I respect both. Love LSU any day over Miles but respect and like Miles very much. Not too hard to understand:).

A lot sooner than that. Have to get past Auburn and UF on the road. Both of those programs have more issues than we have and our QB situation is better and state of the art compared to theirs. But I never sleep on playing at Jordan Hare and the Swamp. If we do well then there is cause for optimism. Then worry about Bama, Ole Miss and Arky.
