wow - talk about an emotional overreaction.

The poster meant that November is when we really will know what our team is made of, so temper your expectations until then.

Of course we all get "excited" about LSU football. That's why we watch.

If we go into the Ole Miss game at 7-0, that will mean we beat Wisconsin, Auburn, and Florida on the road. That's good stuff.

But the tough part of our schedule lies ahead, so don't get ahead of ourselves. Remember what happened last year.

I think a lot of us got caught up in the LF7 show early on last year (and rightly so - he's the best player in CFB). But there were also glaring weaknesses in our team all along before Nov - regular breakdowns in pass coverage, and no consistency in throwing the ball. If those or similar are apparent again then we ought to temper our enthusiasm. Either way, Bama, OM, Arky is a tough stretch.

All that said, kudos to Les for the four great recent AC hires.

Well he still has himself and Cam running the offense. So, whatever Craig does with the WRs is effectively neutralized.

3 good resumes in year 10. That's praise worthy?

I was making a point about his emotional "under-reaction," if you will

Why? I'm not on the team. If I get excited and enjoy September and October and we shut the bed in November, what am I out? What have I lost? The right to say "I told you so.?" I don't give a good goddamn about that, I assure you. Let's say we go 8-0 in September and October and I'm cumming all over myself I'm so hyped up. But you guys hang back and "wait." Don't let yourselves get excited because you don't want to be let down. Then We go 0-4 in November. I'm bummed, you're bummed, everybody's bummed. We're all fricking bummed!!!

But who do think really won, 87? You, sitting back in your chair, "waiting," trying not to get too excited? Or me, who was riding that undefeated train, cumming all over everywhere? We don't run the sprints. We don't lift the weights. We don't watch the film. We don't get to hoist the trophy. All we get to do is enjoy the ride. And I'll be goddamned if I'm gonna let any of you salty bitches ruin my ride. Cause we don't get too many of these trips around the sun.

Point taken but I would LOVE to see our offensive rankings in the month of November, you know, the only part of the season that matters

When you play better defenses your offensive production goes down.

Holy shite. Yeah lose all your September games and see how that works out for you.

Yes, the offense that had 39 yards rushing versus bama.

Name all these programs that ran all over bama. Bama is a better program than lsu right now. They are curb stomping the entire landscape of cfb. Every program comes up short when they ar measured against bama.

Best tenure in LSU history? Didn't Dietzel, Saban, and Miles win a NC

Miles has so far out distanced PD at LSU in achievements that I cant even believe you are serious, but if you are....

Saban in 5 while Miles has doubled the tenure but not the production?

I don't recall Nick going undefeated in the regular season, undefeated in the SEC, or taking LSU to 2 NCGs.

They have incredible unfair advantage with an entire conference office in their back pocket. Those who don't understand that either don't want to or they are just plain stupid.

Remember what happened in 04? We were out of the SEC race and NC picture by 10-2.

Each year is different and every SEC game is big.

No one knows when we discover what this team will be made of...might be our 1st game, might be Aub., or might be any other game.

I would suggest we be highly excited for all our SEC games and certainly Wis, but each to our own.

of course, every season is unique and every team is unique. Anything can happen. Nothing is exactly true to form.

But our schedule appeared backloaded last year, and that turned out to be true. It appears to be that way again in 2016. That's all I'm saying.

Bama didn't have a problem moving the ball on LSU.... As did Ole Miss or Arkansas....

And for the record we had 508 yards of offense against ole miss.

And got a measly 17 points to show for it.... Did YOU just starting watching football.... ALOT of teams had Freshman and sophs playing a lot of Mins... IMO. IF Miles is such a good recruiter these guys should be ready to face any team at anytime.....
