He needs to spend some of that money and try to buy a sense of humor.

The offense this year...well...take it FWIW, the QB issue is off field issues not on field. I have heard a reason from a few insiders (not coaches directly, but people I trust) that makes me beleive BH is not playing much for a very good reason this past year. Having said this, I still think (based on what the reason I was told) he can still be a star here, time will tell, but it is one of those things where you have "trust" that we do not know everything.
Little disappointed, but thanks for the answer.

IMO, the offensive issues go well beyond this year and which QB is playing. If half of the top 100 and AD aren't consistently talking about this then I guess we are waiting on Les to have an epiphany... and even then we will be praying he doesn't revert back to the "fetal position."

If you, the AD, and Les were just watching TV in a room and someone turned on some highlights of Chip Kelly's offense at Oregon, would Miles get physically sick or just walk out of the room?

MMCMGRATH great points I agree with most of what you say, but please dont think I claimed to have spoken with Joe about QB etc., never have, the info was what I heard from some football people not ad's office. No big secret here, but Joe and Les are not real close, I would be very surpised if Joe would question Les ever about "the offense" or "defense" I could be WAY wrong on this, but Joe's role to Les is to see that he wins and does it in a way that does not hurt the LSU brand etc. Joe is not a fb person and if he is giving Les or any fb coach advice on how to coach football we have major issues...right?

The off field issues rumors about Harris have been discussed on this board literally for a couple months.

Don't laugh about North Louisiana - I know of at least one donor from here who has given millions to LSU.
