between b/c liked Chavis when they played texas a&m but disliked meltdowns with Alabama. I thought he did not recruit very good

B. I'd have liked him to stay, but I think we will be fine if we get a qualified candidate. But he was a great coach and he would have had LSU playing at a high level for years.

B. He was a good DC, but John Chavis isn't the end all be all to good defense at LSU. We were good on D before he got here, we'll be good on D now that he's gone. We just need to hire the right guy.

D-e. Not excited at all anymore. Don't care who gets hired. Les is a problem and I have no faith in a future with him.

I'm done until something gets fixed.

B is my vote, but doesn't make much difference who is hired as DC unless a consistent SEC caliber QB is developed or recruited.

E...it isn't only the D that has become stale...its our program's entire philosophy...or should I say Les' philosophy.

D & E. I'm very happy to see Chavis leave. However, the real problem is the head coach. He has lost his fire and become complacent. We need a total house cleaning.
