Heard from a close personal friend of hers that lsu is a definite possibilty. Contractually she was paid 1million last year. Pretty good for a women's coach. I don't care much for women's basketball but I know some here do. If anyone cares, I will update if I hear anymore. U can take this however u want as far as being legit info. I hope it's true though, could mean serious upgrades for my football seats. Her best friend I speak of is a family member.

Maybe she'll transfer with her when she gets the LSU job?

Wouldn't think so either but I'm hoping it will happen. We'll see though.

Then I won't buy it then period.

Until it happens (her actually being hired), Mulkey is the classic pipe dream for Women's Basketball at LSU.

It's ridiculous that we'd waste that money on a sport that generates next to zero revenue while our mens program continues to suffocate to death.

Alleva sucks IMO.

would welcome her but $700,000 is too much for a WBB coach, much less 1 mill

She didn't even take the LaTech job that she was being primed for over the course of several years. Not to mention it was her alma mater and it was an elite program she was taking over. What would be her motivation to leave what SHE has built there at Baylor. I don't think LSU would fork over the cash it would take to draw her away for women's basketball. That's not a shot, b/c I love the girls ball team, but reality is reality.

Baylor women's basketball freshman Makenzie Robertson is a good sign that your source is wrong.

Mulkeys daughter is a freshman, she will not leave her daughter there. Her new arse't coach is my old high school coach Leon Barmore ,who came out of retirement and moved to Baylor from Ruston just to get back into coaching. Now, a package deal for all would be SMART. Barmore could really coach mens ,if there was an opening. Barmore taught Kim Mulkey everything she knows. The only reason he didn't coach mens then, was ole Scotty Roberton was in his way. That's what caused the termoil way back then.He did retire too early.

I think she is from south la, not sure though. I'm not saying it will happen. When I asked my " source", she said no way in hell. The next day she text me and said is was much more possible after speaking to Mulkey. I don't think any women's coach should be paid close to that amount, but I'm not calling the shots. Ruston is too small, hard to recruit to, and can't afford her
