His 2009 season ranks as the 9th best passing season in lsu history,6th best in compl %,6th th best in qb rating.
He started less that 3 years worth of games and yet many on here act like he sucked his entire career. So yes JJ is underrated.

JL isnt underrated. JJ is. Poster on here act like JJ was one of the worst lsu qbs ever and facts prove he was one of the most productive players in lsu history. That's underrated.

No its not....... He had a decent career while at LSU but most remember the last game he played.. It was horrible..... Again he was not underated.... Jamarcus is pretty fricking underrated when you consider that there are a lot of people on this board that honestly believe Matt Flynn was a better QB than him.

Well that is just stupid..JR was a beast... Fkynn was a solid backup and when he got his turn he did well enough to lead the team to the NC...... Its s hame LSU had no bye week in 2005... They were wore out and UGA just has fresher players... And maybe the better team... Another shame is that the gameplan against AU in 2006 was so terrible it could have cost us a shot at the NC..........

JJ benefited from some of the best defenses we have ever seen. There is no way he is underrated imo.

I'll go with Herb Tyler. Granddad, how is YA, Bert, and even Tommy underrated. I don't remember YA and that was before passing was used much but I believe he is a HOF player.
