I have to add Brent Musberger to the mix. He is a complete west coast homer. I hate that SOB even when he's calling games that LSU is not playing in...

I don't like Brent Musburger and can't listen to him.
I don't watch the Ohio State character that the majority on here hates, no reason to justify his existence with ESPN.

I dismiss Robert Smith for some reason because I think he's insignificant, but Mark May is the one that is nails on a chalkboard to me. I turn the channel when he starts. He always seems like he is in a heated debate and that everyone that don't agree with him is wrong. Maybe that's his "role" to keep up the drama, if so, he is too good at it.

Herbstreit has always hated LSU. Remember him picking Bama and putting on that douchy bear bryant plaid fadora 11/5 when Corso was putting on the Tiger mask? Now Herbstreit has seen the light after so many years of hate due to the dominance we showed this year. Herbstreit is just a front runner. First loss in this streak and he bails (hopefully not til about 2018

Surprised to see that Danny Kanell isnt being mentioned much. I realize he's a minor leaguer at ESPN, but the guy hates the SEC and doesnt mind letting people know that on his twitter account.

I was furious when I saw this clip. I guess they have a meeting where Pluto or Mickey or whoever the frick is their boss gives them their talking points, before air time. Skip stood up and said "LSU being ranked #1 is a joke. Trust me." Like he had this inside knowledge of the massive downward spiral that we were headed towards.
That being said, he (a) picked LSU against Alabama, (b) campaigned against Alabama's rematch, and (c) was the only voice on any network I heard say that this decision was politics, Bama's resume didn't amount to OK State's, and that if OK State was OU or UT they would be in the title game.
Also, he said he would trade Stoops to get Miles and called CLM the best motivator he's ever seen. This doesn't make me like him any more or less, but he's removed my "Skip Bayless hates LSU" theory.

This. It is all scripted. Disney/ABC/ESPN decides what message it wants promoted, and the talking heads get their marching orders. Sometimes the message is chaos, to promote controversy, so the various guys are all over the place. Sometimes, the company's interest in a particular result is on the line and a unified front is needed to promote that result, so you get a week like last week with the whole lineup holding hands and chanting "Roll Tide" in perfect harmony.
Just think about it. Lou Holtz was a very successful college football coach. He obviously knows the game inside and out. Does anyone seriously think the ridiculous shite he says is his real and honest analysis? Of course not. And Lee Corso, another football coach? Granted, not as successful as Holtz, but still he was the head coach at Indiana. You don't get to be the head football coach at a Big Ten school (even IU) without knowing the game. But ESPN puts him on the set and turns him into a clown. Does anyone think that is real? I hope not. Herbstreit? Every comedy act needs a straight man for the comedian to play off of. Herbstreit is just Dean Martin to Corso's Jerry Lewis.
They are all just playing the roles given to them by the bosses. Again, you might as well make a list of movie characters you don't like as a list of "analysts" from ESPN.
