I'm going with Beckwith. Last season when he was off the field the other teams production went up.

Beckwith without question. Dude is a monster, as soon as he got on the field our defense would ignite.

I don't know, but throw in Lacouture and Mills, and that's six elite players. It's going to be a good defense.

It's possible that we have four 1st round picks on defense. Will be depressing if defense isn't stout.

Beckwith will anchor down the defense, but Adams is gonna straight ball out and make the plays that tip the scale in our favor.

hard to argue with Beckwith / Adams being 1 & 2 regardless of which way you put them.

Had Beckwith been in all game vs. Miss. St. Dak and his offense don't get those long runs to score TD's. That game is completely different.

I like Adams, but I also like Deion Jones for speed and great plays & tackles for losses.

Jamal is certainly the most elite, though not necessarily the most important

Beckwith and White are elite players. White doesn't get enough recognition for his play, but he's arguably the best cover CB in the nation, along with Hargreaves. He's an eraser out there.

I think Godchaux makes a huge leap in his game and becomes a dominant player for us.

And Adams has the ability and potential to be an absolute monster playmaker for us.

Much agreed! These 2 guys will be nasty.

Also really really think Bower is going to be a force on the end...

Adams. Best freshman safety LSU's had back there since LaRon. And while that's a bold statement, it's how I feel.

I did the breakdown last year on the drives he was in vs. Welter and the difference in production was significant
