The regression is stunning
Hickey is not providing any type of spark for us and think that its timeto have him come off vbench like early in the year.

Johnny o effort is way down as a result of frustration of facing zone after zone

Johnny Jones refuses to flash a man to middle of the zone and is more than happy to pass it around permiter for the offense.

The fear of JJ is coming on, great recruiter terrible x and o coach. He badly needs to hire a great assistant during this off season after our bubble not chance is complete.

Rhode island laid out a blue print to destroy our paper tigers. Its been since Trent's lost to USA that I've been this sad at our team

He doesnt need an assistant. LSU needs a new coach.

I was watching the game tonight and had no fricks on several big Tiger plays. Usually I'd be off the wall. They've taken the excitement out of the game.

I'm disappointed. There has been regression since the 1st game vs UMass. Just my opinion

I just hope we can just start out talenting people

In a year or two of course. When the Shavon Coleman's of the world are no longer on the roster

As I do agree with most of your thoughts, this is not close to our most disappointing team in years

2009-2010 conference record 2-14
2010-2011 conference record 3-13

Now I may be wrong but I would have my money on us going better than 3-13

Hey, the good news is that LSU is only 290th in FT% right now. It could be worse, right?

65.5%

Well, this isn't true. LSU played their best game of the season well after this.

Okay. Still doesn't make up for the fact that we absolutely gave up the game. 5 points in overtime are you fricking kidding me.

Yes. This is CJJ's first recruiting class playing this year. We need to get some of Trent's players out of the way.

Yes they are ,but you did the hard part by leading late ....and then shitting the bed by not coaching them up down the stretch . Our last 5 possessions in regulation were pathetic and he's sitting on 3 timeouts.....

Lol. Stick to being mad at pelicans. God without Coleman we are far worse. He does so many things for us and many don't show up on stat sheet. Coleman is my fav. Player on this team because he's the glue.

This teams problem is coaching hickey and job

When is the last time we had someone who could shoot the ball?!? Hawthorne sounded like a broken record the last three minutes of regulation...Hickey throws up the shot-it's no good, ole miss gets the rebound!!!

I agree with everything you said. Simply put, this team lives and dies by the three. They don't run a good enough offense to consistently get guys good looks. Teams will always give them looks from deep. If they're on (like Stringer was tonight) they'll be in every game. If they're not, you get the Tenn. result. The FT shooting is terrible, and overall it's not going to improve as the year goes on. They generally make the game sloppy for both teams and give the opponent plenty of chances from the line. Every game right now rides on whether or not they can hit from deep.

Almost as tough as Rhode Island is on the road?!?! The Op is right. Lose the purple and gold glasses. It's going to be a long basketball season. Thank God baseball starts in 30 days.
