death valley......home field doesn't really play as near of an advantage as most people think in baseball, only when a team is on the ropes already can crowd noise affect them, if a team is focused in baseball crowd noise does NOT matter, see Stony Brook

Home field is a huge advantage in baseball. Even if you dismiss the crowd, consider the advantage in knowing how the ball reacts when it hits the fence or familiarity with the mound or how the wind moves within the stadium, knowing distance to the stands.

How can you think home field is not huge in baseball?

ehhh a little, but the OP is saying what is more of an advantage football or baseball home crowd, football hands down bc you can mess up a snap count and timing of a center/qb relay and also mess up audibles

Definitely two of the most intimidating venues in the country. Although, our baseball crowd/fans have nothing to do with it.

That's a good point but the same could be said for mental errors, and we've all seen them at the Box, due to crowd noise.

I was looking at this from a relative POV. While both venues are intimidating, the Box stands out among baseball stadiums while Tiger Stadium, certainly at the forefront, is one of many in the SEC that intimidate opposing teams.

Death Valley. Most intimidating place to play, in any sport. Period.

Depends on if it is a night or day game. Night game, Death Valley is more intimidating. Day games in Death Valley typically suck and not very intimidating at all.

That regional against USCw at the Old Box was as an intimidating sports stadium as I've ever been in, and I've had football season tickets since 1961. The Trojan's pitcher was standing on the mound, late inning, and the HC was trying to tell, then yell, something at him from the first step of the dugout. The pitcher stood there, waving his arms, mouthing that he could not hear him. It was that loud.Numbers make TS the obvious winner, but that regional the fans compared to no other I've ever seen. Like old Tulane Stadium, the stands were rocking & literally shaking.

Born and raised in BR and have lived in Ohio since 1993. Went to Ohio State vs Texas in 2005 and the first quarter was just as loud as Tiger Stadium with 102,000 in attendance it should be. Unlike TS the noise did not sustain throughout the entire game.
I was at LSU v Florida 2007 and it was loudest game of my time at LSU. From kickoff to the final play my chest vibrated and could not hear anything else only inches away. Tiger Stadium > OSU
