I still hope Mett starts. He has earned it. The sample size for Jennings is still very small even though he came up clutch. So as much as everyone wants Mett not to play I am rooting for him to play.

Good that man deserves his last game. He played all out for LSU, never selfish and supported the team when hurt.

i hope mett is able to play but id put ZERO stock in that espn text. they dont know yet and wont know until tomorrow at the earliest

Mett should get the start IF he's 100% and IF Mett wants to play. I think there is enough respect from Jennings to Mett that AJ would want him to play as well. He's a good kid and he knows his time is coming.

If Mett is ready, he should start, but Jennings should get a good bit of pt also. He earned it today and would be good experience going into next season.

AJ should have been getting experience during the season when we were playing substandard competition and had the win well in hand. Apparently LessMiles is not smart enough to figure that out.
We were luckier than a dog with 2 d*#ks today. But, gotta hand it to AJ.....he done real good when it counted.

I agree. Mett's been a true warrior and a great QB, but his health comes first. But one usually does not go from non-weight bearing on a leg to 100% full function in one month.
He may wind up starting, but who knows, but we might see a limping Mett (after a few tackles)..... and the fan base needs to be ready for that. The team will already be ready.

Might just be saying this so the higher up bowls won't pass them up because of mett not playing.

When you consider the journey he went through to get to this point, I don't think your going to steal his final game, a bowl game away.

Would love to see Jennings get the start in the bowl game so we can get an idea of what we have going into next year, but Mett deserves to (and should) start if healthy.
