So that means that he believes that Mett is a better passer than JJ and JL. If so, why did he sit the bench all year?

Because JJ was such a dangerous stud runner

I just am going to give him the benefit of the doubt and pray this will come to fruition. My problem is that we have heard things before from Les over and over and to no avail. I'm going to assume we get back to the prior years of a balanced attack and start using some of the talent we have recruited at QB and receiver over the years. Time will tell.

We threw it around in 2007 when he trusted the QB, Miles knew what we had at the QB position this season and was trying to hide it best he could.

"....some balls being thrown down the field maybe a little bit more efficiently.” = A veiled reply to Bobby Hebert's question at the post-game presser. Miles needs to act like a man.

I feel for Mett...this guy will become the starting QB for LSU after 4 years of shite pass offense. If he's not feeling the pressure now, he will in the spring game. I for one can't wait for the day we throw for 300 yards. I'll be praying for him

Is it possible to throw it less? And please don't count our "passes" that end up 2 yards behind the line of scrimmage. When Lee threw one for a TD mid-season I thought that it was questionable as a pass, but after watching the BCS I am pretty sure they should be called laterals. Its called a "forward pass" for a reason.

I'm guessing we will see mett put up similar numbers as Flynn and Russell, which will be like qb heaven compared to the last couple years

I think I understand what your saying; however I'm excited for him as well. I look at it as an opportunity to display an offense that our opposition has not seen for some time here at LSU. I honestly look for great offense between the stellar running core we already have and Mett spreading the ball around to our playmakers IMO.

Well les did throw the ball more when he had a good quarterback. Jamarcus, Flynn and even Lee.

I can't fathom why for the life of me Mett was not used at all this season. If he is such the thrower and stud that was advertised, then why the hell did he not get meaningful playing time?

This could have easily been acomplished prior to JJ returning. What would we have done if JJ had not returned and Lee threw 4 picks in the first half of the 11-5 Bama game? Does he make a switch??

If so, why didn't he do it on 1-9-12 in the second, third, or fourth quarters?

Quick question...do you think Nick Saban thought JaMarcus Russell and Matt Flynn were a better passers than Marcus Randall in 2004? If so, why did Saban play Randall over them most of the year?

FYI...it's the same answer for both coaches.

If I was Miles I know what I'd say to you but I really can't type it here. Have mercy. Reading some of this board you'd literally think we were 6-6 in the regular season instead of 13-0. Seriously.
